ive been pretty stoned the last few days smoking my Grandaddy Bruce.. this shit is potent and good!

Congrats on your grow and harvest, Delta! I'm sure that @cr8grow is happy to hear the Granddaddy Bruce is potent.

trimming is alot of work.. what do you do with your bottom garbage.. im chopping it up and tossing in the garbage

might be ok for liquid solvent extraction but im not into it now..

more testing of the grandaddy bruce.. 11% rosin yield today on some lower buds not bad.. but it is no do si dos thats
for sure 18%

wow i just finished trimming . lol.. was kept around 62 rh.. hanging . did a few jars by hand for the very top buds

the rest i pulled out my trimming machine 1st time really using it .. does good job extra wastage vs hand ..

29 mason jars full for the full grow 4 plants .. with tons of garbage buds left over and shake..

its is good tasty potent bud! grandaddy bruce elite from canuk

Sorry for the absence - I’ve been out of town working. Again. I keep saying that’s it, I’m retiring for good. Problem is, people keep making me offers I can’t refuse. The money was great & the work was easy, but I hated the hours & eating out every day & night. Anyway, I need to wrap this journal up.
Thanks again to @Canuk Seeds for the opportunity to showcase their goods.
I’ll start with the Acapulco Gold. First, they were both grown in store bought living soil & assumed it would be sufficient to keep them healthy through fruition. Hence, I neglected to read the label & by the time I did they were sick & never fully recovered although they did flower for 12+ weeks (staggered harvest). They just didn’t turn out well due to Gardner brain flatulence. I netted 6 zips, but it only gives a mild (but pleasant) buzz that wears off pretty quickly. I can’t give a fair assessment since I really do believe the problems boiled down to gardener error.
The two Double Chocolate were grown in TLO soil per The Rev’s recipe. They both stayed healthy throughout with no feeding other than Cal/Mag & Mammoth microbials, both on a weekly basis. They were both very bushy & lush, and all indicators of impending WPM were present for the last 3 weeks of veg & required daily de-leafng. I was worried about mold & bud rot too, as they produced some fat, dense buds. I pulled a little over 8 zips off them. Good smoke report. Makes me want to either play my guitar or be up & about doing something. The buzz lasts a couple hours & when it wears off a couple more tokes gets me right again. This was the stickiest weed I’ve grown by far. I had to take the buds out of the jars almost every day for the first couple weeks to separate them. Staying one step ahead of the WPM was the biggest challenge I had with these two but it was well worth the effort!

So that’s it for this journal. Thanks for reading!
