Cannibalweed And The Growstar 1000 From Twilight LED

I ran a reveg last grow and the lateral growth was absolutely mental. I kept hacking away and hacking away and ended up with something like a bonsai shape, but one plant still yielded 230g. This was a disappointment as I didn't let it grow high enough above the scrog to really get decent sized buds.

This grow, I am running three monster cropped clones from her alongside some from seeds. I trimmed all but one bud from the flowering clones and, to be honest, their growth has been a lot slower than I expected. The ones from seed grew a lot quicker and far bushier than the clones. However, one of the clones, very late to the party, suddenly started spitting out off shoots galore a few weeks ago and I'm still debating whether to trim some of the branches off.

You can check them out in my journal linked below, but the ones from seed have really taken centre stage.

Welcome greengrostarr,
Yeah these monster crops are something else. I am using them to take clones from. I went in and done a whole lot of chopping on the Delicious Candy. I had to that's for sure.
I probably eliminated 30 potential clones when I did. But the other growth just exploded after.

I never done a scrog but I know what it is.
Wouldn't it be something to take one of these and get it root bound up in a ten gallon pot and dialed in to go outside in the ground early June ?
Talk about a bush. Probably be a mess, huh:19
I'll be over to your journal soon to check it out.
Once I get this this room sorted I'll post some pics.

lolool...got the same blankets off the Zon...gonna' line my rubber floor with them as well as a small auto nook for an auto experiment this next adventure...sulphur burner...hmnnnn...not sure...I've found that good air flow generally trumps humidity(a contributor to PM)...can you get outside air down there?just for chits and giggles...Why Do I Have Powder Mold? Get Rid of Powder Mold | Getting Rid White Mold Cure Botrytis PM Garden - YouTube

Yup.
I can swing outside fresh, no problem.
It's so cold, I'd probably do more chitting than giggling  if I did, right now.
I don't think I'll have a problem with PM though.
I like air moving around in there and I keep it moving. Makes it all so much prettier when you pop the door. Plus, they get so much stronger, IMO.
I don't have any thing directly hitting them and it's not rough.
Just a breeze.

Auto grow you say, next adventure ?
When's that goin down, and have you your strains picked out n up, yet ?

I saw the words root bound and recoiled in horror, but it makes sense. It will slow down the growth and then you can let the roots free when you put it outdoors. Depending on your latitude, I would think about dropping it in the soil earlier than June, maybe early to mid May.

I just put clones in the greenhouse from all my plants except the auto to prepare them for the next crop. I am still debating whether to put some into flower or not as the clones from the reveg were so slow revegging that I'm not sure it would be worth it again. I can top the clones instead and top them a few times after and fill up my tent much quicker. I'll probably put one into flower, but I'll start revegging it way before they all go back in the tent.

As the mothers have only just started flowering, I will have at least two months before they can go back in the tent so I'll have to try and keep them relatively small as they can't be visible from outside the greenhouse (except up close because no one gets close).

Yeah Jake...have not played with autos before...prolly in a couple weeks will get those started for this years adventure...phase 1...phase 2 will be a month or so from there for my photos...I have a few options in each, so not a final decision on strains yet...although my photo's will be more Sativa hybrid varieties...I think!??...lolool...Gonna take a break from my hillbilly style, and try some more mainstream methods...win...lose.. or ...tie......will let you know when things get underway...cheerz...h00k...:Hookah:

greengostarr,

Lemme tell ya something Bud, I don't want do another reveg after this.

I hope to never need this many clones again. But if I did I'd do it again. Yup, because once they finally get their veg groove back and you raise that light up, they'll stretch and BAM ! Gazillyons of clones, or a very thick hedge for the garden.

-- For the wayward reader that had found themselves here......If you're reading this and have never seen a reveg in person you don't know what is missing. Very exciting to see. --

Takes too long for regular growing purposes though. Don't get me wrong I'm just not in a hurry anymore. I suffer from a shortage of good smoke, no longer.
Now about that first of June deal. It's mandatory we wait here where I am. Frost and freezer up until then. Harvest is usually the second to third week of October. Then, the rains come with the cold, then they get the hatchet before the bad shit happens.
But an early December isn't unheard of.
I never seen it personally but heard tell of it.

Okay later Bud have a great Eve. I went over to your journal and checked it out. Great stuff bro. Really.
To bad you couldn't have gotten a clone or two of her to reveg, again. Lol
:passitleft:

But I do have clones of her. I only need to put them into flower. But if I decide to reveg only one clone, it would be from one of the the White Widow X Big Buds. The good thing about the clones from the revegged mystery indica is that the growing shoots were so vigorous that there wasn't one dominant tip and each node grew as fast as the next, so it's as if they have already been topped.

Wow is this a new journal? Is it a secret? I don't see it in your name.. Found the link on another journal.. Going to take me a minute to figure out what ya got growing on.. GL and Keepem Green

Norcaliwood,
Heya bro. I seen you over to 4Dutchess spot quite a bit. Have you heard anything from him lately. I ain't seen him round.

Nah this thing ain't secret. I haven't even unpacked the laptop yet. The app i use on my phone seems to be limited. It is to me anyhow.
But, yup new journal. Twilight LED. GS1000.
Nothing special yet. Just received the light yesterday. Finishing up sealing cellar room today. Waiting on mylar from the Bay. Tomorrow that'll be here. If not Thursday. But then the fun begins.
Right now the HPS 600 is down there to keep it warm.

Hope to have you back when it picks up.

I didn't finish your journal. Too much reading to knock out in one or two sittings. So apologies for not noticing you had saved a cut of her.
But that White Widow X Big Buds sounds like a smoke I'd like to try.
Good vibes Bud

Subbed jacobsenji looking forward to this coming together gl
Heya Sneaky.
Good to see you here. We're a little behind schedule so it might be a minute. Stick around for the fun.
Very nice grow you had last one.

Should be getting the mylar today. Fingers crossed. I got the walls plasticed up yesterday. Set the hangers for the lights. Installed fans and put rubberized flooring in. Turned em on last night and it quickly climbed and leveled off at 79°
Better than the max 64 I could get outta it before the renovation.
Pics in a few hours. Seems as though I brought some mites, too. Boo.
But I'll get that sorted quick. Those little buggers are tough as hell to keep down. I plan on spraying them good with a jet shot of water later today and every day for the next week or so. Nothing too rough.
All up under them leaves n everywhere. Should work right ?

Teach those Dirty Mites a Lesson Jacob! :thumb:

Top of the evenin to ya HG, ya that stretch, take a look at my Desfran (Destroyer X Destroyer) journal, if they had of been 'set free', they would have easily surpassed 10 feet , no problem..i know it...look at them. Like you said, i had to fight with them every day , cuz they wanted to grow straight up , very fast , like they were mad , it was something to see. Anyhow , cheers and have a great night HG.:high-five:

Hi Duggan, I read through your Desfran journal and I have to say they were Monsters! :bravo: Sorry to hear that two of them were Shwag, I couldn't imagine the frustration that they caused. Hope the Next run with those Zamals will make up for the others. :thanks: :Namaste:

Just alittle 2 cents,,, if you want something gentle on your plants and it will kill your mites off after acouple times,, Safers Soap.. You mix up some soap and spray your plants down till thoroughly soaked,, wait 20 minutes and rise with water.. Should wash 90% of mites off,, then 3-4 days later repeat.. It leaves the leaves soft as clean,, Stuff works wonders,, but then that is if your plants aren't to far along.. I do a perpetual grow most of the time.. And having plants in a nursery, teens in another, outdoor crops and a flower room in all in rotation, makes it next to impossible to kill them off.. You don't want to spray your flowering plants,, yet you'll reinfect the rest by not.. Last year I tried a new product on hemp mites,, they are harder to kill being smaller and alot more plentiful by the time you see them little mfer's.. But called Glean Cleaner.. Shit worked great on them.. Myself I use a azamax regiement right as I start flowering, if I think they are anywhere near close to my vegging plants. GL and Keepem Green
