Cannafan's Perpetual Grow - Where Everything Changes - Autos - Photos - Seeds & More!

Re: Cannafan's Perpetual Grow - Where Everything Changes - Autos - Photos - Seeds & M

Yeah, I used to get really upset when chit happened...but that causes ulcers and other health issues. Now, I just go with the flow and realize that it is counterproductive to the brain, and stops the process of finding solutions. Got my bro coming over when he gets out of work so we can work on the brakes for the truck.
If you can make yourself laugh and stay positive during the tough times...it peeves off bad karma and forces it somewhere else.

So, on to happier things. :cheertwo: I have a taproot overnight on a Purple Train Wreck and it went into a rock wool cube a few minutes ago. I am really looking forward to this one.

:circle-of-love:
That's good advice!!! I can't wait to see her grow into a big girl and mature into a big woman

The great escape from the pressures of the day....fussin' with weeds.

Here's most of the seedlings tonight. They are staying short for me and thriving. I am going to enjoy topping and training these kids. Please excuse the writing on the solo cups from previous seedlings, I reuse my solo's:

Auto Blueberry is in a 3 gallon pot with perlite, she's seems happy. The tray you see on her right is the newest one sharing her light, AutoFrisian Dew pictured just after:

I have a good feeling on yours. :)
Don't wet them too much, I'm sure you know what moist is with all of the clones you've nurtured to maturity.

Woot Woot...on the Root Roots! :cheertwo:

Re: Cannafan's Perpetual Grow - Where Everything Changes - Autos - Photos - Seeds & M

Oh whoppee....I just went to check on the rock wool cubes and can see a white stem trying to unfold and come up through the hole where the seed went.....the fact that this tray is sitting on my kitchen counter should tell you how serious I am in trying to perfect this seed popping thing....I normally like to keep the entire grow downstairs....but had to defer because of my previous flops....oh thank you for your advice and info in how to do this.....Duggs should get some credit as well about heat under the seeds, and you recommended the heating pad.....perfect.....I have 7 Grapefruit Krush and 7 Chemdawg91 to attempt to "get up and go" after the seed/hermie fiasco....

Also trying to find a mailing vessel to pass on some of the bounty....

Cannafan,
You'll love that Red Poison. It is my bedtime med and it puts me to sleep as soon as my head hits the pillow. It is so very beautiful when it is blooming. Love the pretty color.

WJ
:ciao:

I remembered it was you who suggested that quite awhile back. :thanks:
How do you take it as a bedtime med, oil...smoke...vape?

Do not use a standard mailing envelope with your goodies in a plastic baggie. I think I mentioned this before, but if the envelope appears flat, the postal offices will sometimes run those through a machine to stamp them, and the goodies will get crushed to bits. My area does this regularly, so it's not a safe way to do it. DVD cases in a padded envelope work great, or anything that will protect the goodies from getting crushed and not be run through a machine.

You got any more little white necks appearing this morning? :cheertwo:

Re: Cannafan's Perpetual Grow - Where Everything Changes - Autos - Photos - Seeds & M

Do any of you supplement your grows with anything like horn shavings/powder or antlers?

Rudolf Steiner from the Biodynamic organic farming fame used horns to compost special mixes ... they did all sorts of crazy stuff with horns. Interesting reading...That was back in the day when farmers were farming to feed themselves and others in the community when starvation was 1 bad growing season away.

There's something to them for sure... don't know weather I'd personally use horn dust fertilizer unless grass fed or wild caught... with how we treat cattle for food these days I err on the side of caution there for sure. Why I don't use bone/blood meal either.

Catching up... congrats on the little ones and the ladies are looking yummy.... :thumb:

Thanks for that info! Why I was curious, is that I have a huge supply of whitetail deer antlers here that I was using for other purposes a few years ago. These are from wild deer, not deer farms. So, the only thing they eat that is supplied by man is an occasional carrot pile or sugar beet, maybe some corn here and there from hunters.
Problem with antlers is they stink like hell when trying to grind them or break them down. I mean REALLY stink.

The growth on the Black and Blue Hyenas in the last two days has been great. I think we're going to have nice tight nodes on these kids:

Purple Train Wreck is pushing through the top of the cube. She should be out to meet the world by this evening. :cheertwo:

Give them a few days for sure. Make sure they aren't getting too warm. Don't want to cook them. Some are just slower than others, I will keep the faith. Congrats on 4 babies!

We did not get the expected snow, although winter weather advisories don't end until midnight tonight. The wind is hellacious though.
It shouldn't stick long, the weekend is supposed to be great weather with sunshine and much warmer temps. :)

4 days is just getting started. I believe I have seeds fail to start because they were overheated.

Our big wind was yesterday with about 15 mph sustained, 30 mph gusts this morning. The sun came out today. All day. The sun is supposed to stay out through the weekend.

I did about an hour of digging in the yard and expect to do an hour or more every day for several days now :)

Re: Cannafan's Perpetual Grow - Where Everything Changes - Autos - Photos - Seeds & M

I've pulled up my boot straps so often lately that the straps broke.

Things are looking good as far as plants here. The Purple Paralysis that I was trying to get seeds out of is just not working. The one little seed is all I see. The nanners are not producing any pollen that I can see, and there are not enough fresh pistils on it to even pollinate. Sooooo, I'm going to harvest what is left of the girl this weekend. I need the space for vegging plants, and carrying her back and forth to a closet for darkness to keep her on a 12/12 light schedule is getting old. She's heavy.

It took a long time, but my 4 clones from Purple Paralysis #1 finally have roots going that are developed enough to get them into some solo cups. The stems on these were pretty woody because of the maturity of the plant when I took them. I knew they were going to take some time. I might.....just might try a colloidal silver method to see if I can get some seeds that way from one of these clones after they've gone into reveg. That just depends on things here, as far as time to put forth for a project like that.

Here's one of them:

Purple Train Wreck took 6 days to emerge fully, but she's hollering for light this morning:

I think that's it for now. Back under a truck I go.

**snip** **snip**

Trimming up the final harvest on Purple Paralysis #1 while I wait for the air to warm up outside this morning. I don't see any signs of seeds other than the one small one.
I'll do a weight when done and try to get some trichome pics. She did start turning purple on the leaves.

All done, here's what I got for buds from the leftover Purple Paralysis #1:

1.8 ounce wet weight. There were still some okay size buds on her:

Here's the pot-corn and a little bit of sugar leaves, a little under half an ounce wet weight:
