I'm going to just leave the plant intact and keep harvesting them throughout the week. I have a plastic grocery bag around the base so if any seeds fall they won't get mixed in the soil or get lost.
I had tried cutting the stems and putting them in water so that the seeds would continue to develop on my last round of seed harvesting, I had read that works, but it was seriously slow going. I mean slow, as in a couple weeks more than just leaving the plant to do it on it's own.
