Cannabis Ruderalis Summer Fun

It's time for the flush. She smells fantastic. Didn't expect this from an auto.

I do think it is time to defoliate to prepare for harvest.

Are there any issues with defoliating an auto like a photoperiod plant? I have about a week to go for harvest.

I would have defoliated before the flushing period started. I'm not sure how well defoliating will benefit/hurt your yield now that you're a week from harvest.

As a normal pre harvest procedure I flush 10-14 days before harvest and strip off the sun leaves 7-10 days before harvest.

As far as my yield goes my only concern is with quality.

Going to do bud washing on half the plant also. This will be my first attempt so a 50/50 test is in order.

This morning she got a trim and here she is.

Has it been pollinated, or did your calyxes just swell that much? If so, do you have a secret or a trick to it?

That's a beautiful plant, tgg. Hat's off. This inspires me to try a couple autos outdoors next summer. To get a couple ounces mid-summer, while the big girls are still two months away, sounds wise to me.

She is holding a couple dozen seeds on some lower buds but she is seed free in the top buds. All resin packed calyxes.

She will be well cured to smoke while trimming the big ones later.

BTW everything I did from where the seeds came from to soil and nutes are all in this journal.

This is the only auto I have grown. Lucky?

I did get 2 other plants from the seeds but they are growing outdoors @ 6000 Ft elevation. Should get new pics of them today.

Yesterday at dawn she was cut down. Now we will see how this all worked out.

The smell and look are spot on. One last test.

I have the same thought. She is fat but fluffy. Still hoping for an oz or more

Well the summer fun is over and it worked out well.

The last test is the taste and stone test.


She did produce about 3 dozen nice looking seeds.

Took her down after a week of drying and trimmed her up last nite.

Trimmed out a bit more stem after the pics. 44g total. I am sure it will drop a bit more in curing.

Not a bad yield. And yeah, I lost a little weight in curing too.
