Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

re: Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

Thanks groomer. She's had it for many years, so I think it's too late for antibiotics....yes?

Not sure. Cajun was the one to suggest the Antibiotic route first. So far it is working and she had 9 out of 10 bars on her WB test. Her infectious disease Dr. said that means she has had it for a while. It has been 2 months since she was diagnosed and while she is not 100% she is markedly better then she was and is improving all the time. :peace:

So glad to hear this good news, SG....this disease is so insidious....

This was one of those blessed moments in my life. I got bitten by the infected tick, the bull's eye showed almost immediately and early treatment kicked it out of my system before any trouble could begin to build. My guardian angel is a workhorse. That's not the first time by any shot that I caught something extremely dangerous and they found and treated it within days of contracting it.

Sending healthy and healing thoughts to your wife supergroomer. The tendency of the body is to heal. A thought worth keeping in the front of your mind at all times.

re: Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

Oil Heads,
We've come so far already that it's mind boggling! I've just listened to an internet radio cast from 2 years ago about Lyme disease and 'cannabis oil'. A panel of experts were struggling with questions that I/we know the answers to today. WOW. I could answer almost every question! I felt so smart! My big brain was like a fire truck! Spewing.

In 2 years, we'll look back at today and think of it like we do 'blood letting' now. WTF kind of thing.
Last year, I had faith CCO could help PTSD and probably cancer.
Today, I know it stops both cold.

They didn't even realize that they were talking about the effects and side effects of multiple types of cannabis concentrates. Also, the side effects they talked about were from solvent residue (as we understand today) from those various oil making techniques.

Not even ONE mention of tacking, even though excess euphoria as a common problem was discussed (thanks Tim & Mo).

WOW, we DO have big brains!

:Namaste:

re: Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

Congratulations guys on the Q&A thread!
BTW if I may, mylar 4x8" zip-lock bags are great for freezing the flower before making the oil and also for storing concentrate in the fridge (not the freezer), much thicker than zip-lock bags and blocks any light when the fridge is open. They also hold a 1/4 lb. of flowers which is a perfect amount to fit in the mixing pitcher and only approximate 1,140 ML of 100% organic corn alcohol ethyl carrier, approximate cost is $20.00 if purchased in a 5 gal container. Produces approximately 16 grams of our beloved concentrate.

On a personal note; got through the angioplasty procedure to remove the 90% blockage in my right leg.
Thank you guys for keeping things going and getting the Q&A up and running! Your dedication to helping others is epic! Much Love & respect for you all!

:cheertwo::circle-of-love:

I would like to congratulate you for finding the (non euphoric) tacking protocol. Bless you Motoco & Mo the father & mother of CCO TACKING. Why is it that I can't read one of your post without learning something??? Just lucky I think. Thank you & Mo for stopping in please make it a (laid back) habit.

You just gave me an idea....I'm going to make my own mylar zip bags with mylar from my grow curtains and my bag sealer unit.

Please document how you do this for the lucky people (yes me) here that benefit from your DIY Awesomeness!!!!!!

:thanks::thanks:

@RSOiler:
Oh, brother dear....I added a link to my how to post to you this morning on how to multi-quote. ;-)
I think I was doing good until I got to this quote :hmmmm:

@cajun:
I changed my avatar to CCO. ;-)
How am I doing Sista (Messed this one up, bad timing)

Hello Oilers! What a fantastic link you have created here; I am so excited.....I see a seat way in the back and was wondering if I could join as an auditor of the class. I am growing the Darkstar strain, suggested to me by Cajun, as I am interested in gaining CCO knowledge to provide additional offerings and guidance to my patients as their Caregiver.

Why am I also not surprised that you folks here have taken oil making to the next level above the standard.....I am at the right place at the right time.....thanks in advance to you all :circle-of-love:

WELCOME Shawnee, I know you are a caregiver and now your are stepping in to a "Non Euphoric" way of caregiving. Congratulations, looks like I am adding another journal to my list (if that's okay with you)? John is right, join the circle up front and soon our circle will encompass the world.

Hey Everyone!! What a great thread! Thanks for letting us know about it. I finally was able to log in and wanted to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Regarding your question, Cannafan, yes, I have noticed my hair and nails are stronger and grow faster and yes John, men become fire trucks! It also helps with allergies and some people have noticed improvement with the asthma. I was beginning to think it was just me so thanks for posting that. I am excited to hear what other people notice.
Keep up the good work with your tacking and keep those happy thoughts!

Hi Mo, thanks for stopping in. This is a relaxed thread so please stop in and say hi now & again, (NO STRESS) lol.

Sorry I didn't emphasize the denture trick more.....it sure makes tacking a whole lot easier....and you don't leave a little on your finger each time....that's got to add up over the years!

:thumb:

Thanks to Canna, Oiler, and Motoco for this! Good to see you here Shawnee, we are breaking new ground!

There's no sitting in the back.....I think we have an important circle going here!

:circle-of-love:

TO ALL OILERS :circle-of-love:

Hey John would you mind giving a little (lot) more info on tacking under the lower dentures???:thanks:

Oil Heads,
I felt so smart! My big brain was like a fire truck! Spewing.

WOW, we DO have big brains!

:Namaste:

So..........tell me John..........Motoco has you reducing your tacks down to a maintenance dose, right?..........how is that going??? :cheesygrinsmiley:

re: Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

And that cco oilers was my first multi-quote thank you sista (cannafan) :adore: :thanks:

You know Sista, I like the CCO in your Avatar. Let's talk "Title Change"

re: Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

Cannafa & Cajun have brought up a good point, RSO is not as good as CCO. Motoco has brought CCO to a much higher level, I believe we need feed back from all of our "OILHEADS" on what would be the best title for our thread.

MY thought: "CCO (RSO) OILERS UNITED" ;)

ANYONE ELSE????????? :Namaste:

Okay John...........Sloppy tack & lets hear it. :thedoubletake:

Lol. You still crack me up. Congrats on the multi quoting. It took me 2 years to learn it.

re: Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

LOL brother dear! (RSOiler)
I was at work and couldn't respond last night. Second shift has it's downfalls.

I agree with the title change, I sent you a PM. But since you already asked for input here, which is what I suggested (great minds)..here's my thoughts on a new title:

CCO & RSO OILERS UNITED!

My reasoning is to separate the two in some way so they don't appear to be the same thing.

If I get any kind of go ahead on my oil emoticon ideas they will be changed to CCO instead of RSO. Easy to do. :)

MO!! So happy to see you pop in! :hugs::hugs:

I know how busy you two are and it's great to see you. I hope things are going well.
I think this thread is going to turn out to be very helpful for those questions outside the subject of tacking and making oil.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you two as well!

re: Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

RSOiler,
You did great on the multi-quote! You only did one boo boo where you typed your response inside of my quote that you wanted to reply to. You have to be sure to have the members' quote well out of the way of your response.

It's easy to make that error when you're trying to quote several people at once. I've done it....I've edited....too many times.

Great job!

re: Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

Good morning Sista, thanks, I saw my error during my proof reading and edited my error to red, I figured I would boo boo the whole thing if I tried to fix it. :thedoubletake:
TITLE CHANGE? so far I like your title better, that's my vote "WHAT SAY THE OILERS??????

Always good to see Motoco posting his wisdom on these journals. :adore:

re: Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

Okay Oilers...It's vote time for Title Change. We'll do this the official way. :)

I think I can do a poll for votes instead of members' having to post here. Checking on that now.

The Title candidates on the ballot are:

CCO (RSO) OILERS UNITED

CCO & RSO OILERS UNITED

I'll be back with the poll if I can find that again.....

re: Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

In response to RSOilers' request on the mylar:

My idea of the mylar bags is kind of simple, I will use my food saver (off brand cheapy unit) to seal the mylar around a zip lock freezer bag. That way I can zip lock it and keep it dark.
I'll post a pic when I have one finished up, hopefully today before work. ;-)

Okay John...........Sloppy tack & lets hear it. :thedoubletake:

Ok. I am probably the "least" of the oilheads here. I have only made a couple small batches to experiment with and until my garden is up and running full swing again, I will not have the meds to make more. That being said, here is my take.

I agree. The people here (Moto, Mo, Cajun, 94xjjohn and all the others) have taken RSO to a new level!! I like the CO but I think RSO should still be part of the title (in parenthesis if you like) so that when the uninitiated do a google search for RSO this will pop too. Just my opinion. :peace:

re: Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

Okay, it took me mere minutes to make a mylar light proof zip lock bag with the food bag sealer.

This bag is a sandwich size, I will be making bigger ones for the syringe storage. I'll use this one for seeds. :)
All I did was cut the mylar (you could probably use the cheapy emergency blankets from wally world to do this as well) to fit around the zip lock bag and sealed all sides to the bag except the top. There's no way to really seal the top around that zipper easily, so I left an overhang of mylar above the zipper so I can just fold that under in storage. Works perfectly!

:Love:Perfect right up till that last thought. Zip lock bags are not air tight.....so if you just fold the extra mylar under, you will NOT have an air & light proof enclosure. Just leave enough mylar past the zip lock to fit in the sealer and melt that baby into submission.....er, air tightness.:thumb:

:Namaste:

Ps. Also, send for those amber syringes I told you about right away. Air + Light = short potency life.
PPs. Plus, those clear ones say you're a newb...

If it's being stored in capped syringes, don't they offer the air tight seal you'd need?

Yes they do SweetSue!
