re: Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge
Folks that get obvious and fast results, naturally, take to tacking the fastest. What budnoob said, I agree with. All it takes is seeing the results first hand. Whether it's you, or someone you know, seeing IS believing. And then it's full on 'I want to know how to do this'.
My friend with Lyme is so excited by her progress (Another great night sleep last night!) that I'm SURE she'll want to pay it forward....she's already a pro at tacking....in fact she loves it and has no problem at all. Cannafan, she has stains in her denture for a couple of hours after she tacks, too. My 30 minute stain may be due to the fact that my dentures are loose and I taste and feel the oil in my throat almost each tack. So my saliva may be taking it away faster than you guys. Not enough to get high (be euphoric), just enough to notice.
Y'all know the oil tastes terrible, makes your throat sore, stains the corners of your mouth, and gives you sticky lips, right? That's the bad news.
The good news is that it can save your life and give you your quality of life back! WOW, what a trade off!!! I'll take it...I'll tack it.
On the question of how long to observe a patient...
It's not usually feasible to stay with a person as they 'come on' to the oil. That takes about 2 hours, so I want to hear from them at about that time after their first tack. Also, I meet in person or by phone with each 'oiler' in the early evening and again in the morning before they start the day and re-tack. In other words, I want to know how their day went when it's over, and I want to know how their night went when it's over. I'll probably back off that schedule if I treat more people, as I'll run out of time. I'm new at this and want to keep a VERY close eye on these folks. If anything goes wrong, I want to be able to intervene ASAP. The worst I've seen is an unwanted high. Euphoria is not a description I'm comfortable with. It sounds pleasant....enjoyable even. Don't kid yourself...it can be hell to some folks (especially non pot smokers).
Rambling...what was the question?
