I have COPD, quite serious; I'll maybe bore you but here's a brief history. My COPD & Arthritis combined forced me to retire in 2010. I had begun using Spiriva daily approx. 2007 - by 2010 my disease was so bad I was prescribed Advair on top of Spiriva and I was forced to spend the summers of '10 & '11 in my basement due to summer humidity in So. Ontario, Canada. I couldn't bathe or shower due to humidity - sponge baths only!G'Day from sunny Australia,
I was wondering if anyone who has used cannabis oil for COPD can give an indication on how long it takes to start feeling a difference? I know everyone is different, however should one be patient and wait for years or can it be felt within months?
Thanks!

I stumbled onto PhoenixTears.ca - Rick Simpson. A partner had several pounds of bad trim so we made RSO - I began ingesting oil & vaping bud in Oct of 2011 - before Christmas I was able to use up ALL the hot water in my tank enjoying my showers. I totally quit both inhalers for good on July 1st, 2010.
It is my opinion that vapourizing bud @ low temps is v. beneficial, but one MUST ingest concentrate oil as well! Also, I'm positive that other people will have varied results, but DON"T GIVE UP! Also - you MUST vaporize, do not smoke your shit!
Thanks for your reply and all of the great information about your journey. You said 'I totally quit both inhalers for good on July 1st, 2010'? Did you mean 2012? Was it a year or two years after you start medicinal cannabis that you were able to get of the meds? How are you doing now? Still have improvement?
Thanks for the great feedback. I am sure many will get hope from your posts regarding cannabis oil and COPD. If I may, I have a few other questions...
When you had the COPD issues did you have lung function tests such as FEV1 etc and have you had them since using cannabis oil and seen a difference in the actual lung function stats?
FEV1 is a the measurement used by lung specialists to determine your lung function etc. It is when they make you blow into a tube for a long time until you can't anymore and they measure the reading. I am guessing you have probably done this at some stage and that is how they measured your lung capacity etc?
Your improvement is inspirational to say the least. Onward and upwards!
