Hello.

I don't know if I've ever posted here as I've only been growing a year. However, I've been using cannabis medically since 2016, which is also around the time I joined 420.

Anyhow, I have a quick question. We have a small 3x3 tent that can hold 4 plants in 3 gallon pots. However, with the oscillating floor fan we have in there, I find it cramped and hard to maneuver the plants in and out of the tent. Therefore, I'm thinking about getting a fan that I can clip to the upper bars of the tent and I'd like a recommendation that I could get on the .ca version of the online department store everyone loves and hates that we're not allowed to reference here.

i find the clip on fans are trash like @bluter says, the cheaper clip on's have shite bearings and the shaft wobble after a few months and make alot of noise. i use them in my small tent because they are awesome for space but they loud and junk after year.
@Plant Daddy made some wooden mount for his and i think he went old school cheap desk fans you'd buy at hardware store. i 'll see if i can find pic, i've gone with tower style fan but they still take up a corner.

Day 46 of Veg

I made it to this day with what looks like some healthy girls. I've put some Growth Science Growth in a few waterings but, just water, LST and a little supper cropping. Looking at them i'm thinking it's time to flip or am i just being impatient? When I do flip I'm wondering if I should go dark for 48 hours? I took a few pic so you can see tent set up and the Ladies. Any and all comments and advice welcome please.

i've actually had the cdn tire fans sieze up, with a little 3 n 1 oil and a little work they were up and running in a few minutes.

i'd never buy another "grow tent" clip on again from amazon or anywhere really. the generic fans cdn tire sell are as good or better than any of them.

Hey fellow Canucks, welcome! Been on here for sometime now, always here reading and learning, from Southern Ontario myself. I’m somewhat new to growing as I’m currently on my third grow and it’s going great. First grow was just that, a first grow, lol. Second grow went really good and harvested some good smoke and now well on my way on third grow! Third grow is being journaled here ‘Quebec Blue Grow’ check it out if you wish. Just noticed this group lol, but will check in as said always reading and checking out what others got going on! First three picks are from last grow, two Hulk Creator strains which is a hybrid (Bruce Banner/Sweet God). These finished great, smoked very nice! Last five pics are my lone plant being grown now. This one is QC Blue or Quebec Blue, another hybrid (Blue fire/Grand Daddy Purple) This grow has gone great, zero issues to this point ( currently 23 day in flower) Happy smoking all!!!

called the 'for living desk fan with clip'. they come with both a pedestal and a clip. 14.99 cdn. there is an oscillating version for 24.99. just google cdn tire. they have loads.

i just use a couple of the cheaper ones in my spaces. i have one in the veg space and two in the flower room. flower room is a bit under 4 x 4.


the fans are better than ones i've bought supposedly designed for grow tents. both cheaper and quieter.

keep the tower fan handy. used to run 8 x 8 rooms and the oscillating blade fans were fantastic for them. used to run one each corner, doing two on / two off on opposing schedules. the fans alone eliminated many other problems.

I've got a Chinese desk fan that's on it's 3rd year, 24/7. A cheap fan is like being old ....... about the best thing you can do is keep moving. Full lockdown in NS. A church here was warned about congregating and they kept meeting anyway, the congregation just made a $70,000 + donation to the I Don't Give A Shit About No One Else Fund.

Hi folks....Been awhile since I last posted.....Well Mustang92 .... I figured it out how to grow ....Maui waui ...each season in our climate here in Ontario... Start the seeds in last week of March...Let plant Veg for two months April and May inside under led lights on dwc system, Then transfer to promix in grow bags or plastic containers and let veg outside for June and July... Then when August 1st comes bring the plant inside again under Led lights to trigger early blooming with a 12/12 light cycle it should finish indoors by mid to last week of October (12 weeks) bloom time by then... Well at least that's the plan.... So what ya think? lol

Well I’m 1 plant from finishing my first grow of 2021. Last one will come down on Thursday and should end with just shy of 2lbs dry from the 9 plants I grew. Loving so far my Lemenchello Haze, Amnesia Lemon Kush, and Bruce Banger a lot. Moby Dick is intense for first 30-45min but seemed to dissipate quickly afterwards and Diesel Drift I found kind of the same. I’m still experiencing some weird Covid long hauler stuff and it was bad enough that no weed could get me high. Reliable strains weren’t doing anything and almost wrote off my new Creamsicle harvest. Fri/Sat my weed was working amazingly and so did Creamsicle. Hope to start my new grow on Sunday but some highlight harvest pics

How you going to get an equatorial plant through the door Herb?

if you veg her for 2 months indoors i've seen them grow to 6feet plus monsters in those 18l plastic kitty litter buckets by august outdoors, 9-16 oz a plant of weed easy. keep an eye on it and move it inside when plant size tells you, use support pole in bucket and match it's height with your door then you'll know time to come indoors. you'll need support pole later on anyway and I hope you haven't topped it, don't it will be even biggger to move.

You could always get a BIG wagon and a light tight out building and do some light dep.......... not that I would do anything like that.

Yes! Been rely on my C.Tire fans for years..perfect for my small grows. Had to replace last year, but the other one worked flawless for many years!

Got my outdoor girls out in their final “grow pots” Almost all are in either an 80L or 96L garbage can with holes drilled throughout the sides and bottom of the can. Then I have 2 garden beds I’m taking as well that are probably 35-50G worth of soil in them. So going outside via clone from my last tent grow, will be Moby Dick, Lemonchello Haze and Dr. SMan CBD. Starting from seed I have Black D.O.G., Mango Sapphire, Sugar Breath, American Pie and Amnesia Lemon Kush. Started the last one just 10 minutes ago after loving my tent results from the strain. Plus on top of that I will attempt to reveg both again from my recent tent grow of Bruce Banger and Diesel Drift. Plus I hope to get my next tent grow started on Sunday with Sour Diesel, Malawi, Crystal METH, Mimosa EVO, Cloudwalker, MK Ultra x Bubble Gum, Cinderella 99 and maybe a couple more. Sister won’t need her grow tent in a few weeks and will be splitting my grow between the 2 and try and create some monsters. I’m gonna need a lot of mason jars and mylar bags for storage
