Yeah, Hats off to you Pepperhead and Delta Dubie, I miss those days too. One of my favorite hashes was Black Napalese Temple Ball. Three or four tiny hot knife hits of that would send you into planetary bliss. But reflecting on the original comment Pepperhead, landrace weed of our youth would make an excellent thread. This is important for the preservation of the history of original landrace genetics and their effects. In the future I see a cannabis archaeologist researching comments on sites like these to see what people thought of weed way back when, how each strain affected people, and if those characteristics survived into the hybrid strains. We need to chronicle this for science. So anyone out there who had a favourite weed from anywhere, for example, Thaistick, what was the pure Thai like for you?

Pure thai stick for me was euphoric with some energy
Did not get dizzy but everything brightened up in the sun
Everything was much clearer no fog like some of the indices
Also had some aurora indica in the early 80s not sure if it really was as now most seed banks or info on line say it was created later but loved it was very soothing and relaxing

you want to make your own now need a nice press .. looks like fun ..
im looking at a dab press 6 ton jack 569 or the 10 tonn rig for 850 with pump and pressure gauge. on amazon.ca these sell out fast .. u need the pressure gauge to repeat results.. pressure tempeture and time are you options making rosing.. u dont need 10 tonn of pressure.. just better machine.. its a personally choice.. ive been hearing numbers like 120 psi or 140 psi... now how there are calculating .. on the plates or the product area..
10 tonn 20,000lb s / 5 x 3 inch plates 15sqin = 1,333.33 psi max
6 tonn 12,000 15 800 psi
product 2x3.5 area.. 7 .5tonn 1000lbs / 7sqin 140 psi
any body care to comment on the pressure to use making rosin ... why the heck u need 10 or 6 tonnn or 20 ton press? hear alot of bad info on the net.. but maybe the bad info was 120 psi for rosin.. any body know?
stake up the plants im wondering if i stunted there growth.. still lots of nice tips for buds really exposed to light now..
also added fan to bottom of tent in front of the vent hole point 85degree up the wall side a bit off the flower side..
drop temps bigger that i thought 7 or 8 f lower

The pound force is the fluid pressure in psi multiplied by diameter of the piston (diameter)xsquared.
So for rosin measure size of your bag not the size of piston instead.

Platen pressure is how much pressure is on rosin bag, believe you still need too make two calculations.

Hey @deltadubie I press ...been thru a few brand names , can’t recommend anything but dab press or a homemade version .
ive never had to press anything over 3000 ish? pounds , but my dab press has 3x5 plates so I’m pressing 3-10 grams of prepressed product max ....so the 6 ton is sufficient for my personal needs.
pressing requires a lot of patience and is an art . ..if /when you try it the most important thing to know is that it’s all about your starting product . you can squeeze the shit all day out of a puck and get nothing , so be sure you try the right strain, and paper, so you don’t waste your time ...
