Rosin is all I smoke, easier on the lungs. Busy time of year. I managed to sift this today but am pressing bud later.:thumb:

rosin might be a little easier on the lungs but im smoking 10 x more not good..

Here's my nugs, the rate of return is way up there!

20230507_161014_resized_resized.jpg

well lets see some rosin pressing pics.. what rate of return you getting .. % return can be a massive lie.. and varies massively from different plants strains..

Moisture content causes a lot. My bud is dry for sifting. Less return when you get rid of the plant matter but more rosin and less fats and lipids. Quality over quantity, maybe 10% moisture, what bag? and when i get to it. Posted lots of rosin pics, you must have got high and missed it.:lot-o-toke:

for the big leaf game im smoking some fresh pressed do si dos elite..

a few top colas 18.18 % 42 days after chop.. most excellent return

the gentle heating really improves the rosin ..

I do and add a bunch of other stuff, and wont touch it for 30 days minimum. On the bottle all winter and excited about getting off it.
That's cool... Ya I've been running the bottle salts for my seed project runs and want to switch to a more natural based nutrient line for my smoking and washing and hashing buds... Was thinking Gaia Green cause my friend gets a great discount for those nutes where he works or I was also considering Cropsalt but heard some mix reviews about it.

Hi Folks .. Anyone running Promix and Gaia Green nutes combination?... If so how are you finding your results with using the two together?

im using hp pro mix n general hydroponics

i do and love the results , pro mix hp , added perlite and worm casting and a lot of different dry amendment's from them g.g. oyster shell flower ,bone meal , blood meal , green sand, soft rock phosphate, azomite ,sulphur , , i use the rev"s aproach to my building my soil for 3 months and i am on my 3 yr of using this soil , i use r.o. water only , great white for my mycorrhiza and i have my own compost bin and worm farm , i have a 7x7x7 grow room i built and 9 1000watt led's from mars in this room , i top and trim my plants all the way till 2 weeks in flower , i have a white platic collar i place around the stem of my plants when they are small and leave it on till chop , this is to keep the white clover i use as a cover crop in my cloth pots from growing near the main stalk and when i top dress from getting in to the roots to soon i use 20 gallon cloth pots to grow in from seedling till chop . no repotting , no tea, either 0 ppm water and usually only 1 hit of of top dressing till finished , bigger pots are the best for organic growing in my experience i get 12-14 oz dry weight off a 3-4 ft plant , i bleach clean walls and floor between each grow , powdery mildew is the only problem i am faced with every once in a while , hope this helps i only grow 4 plants plants at a time , focused effort on them

Thanks for your knowledge and info much appreciated Nooobienot 👊 ...Love the idea of not having to up pot!

Got those days long behind me, got lots of nightmare stories tripping on shine.
Oh man someone say Moonshine! ...lol... I still have my Still to run shine!.. Fun stuff if you don't blow yourself up or catch fire.. Then its not so much fun.. haha... My favorite was fermenting wine and running it threw the still and stripping it down to a smooth brandy shine and then using fruits and hearts cuts to add the flavor profile back. Or if running a strait sugar or corn mash I'd distill it then bottle it with oak chips and other woods for 6 months to 2yrs and longer to get a nice gold color and more flavors from the wood into the finished shine. Hmmm maybe its time I fired that thing up again!

I have a buy nothing approach to organics, beyond peat and gia. All I do is compost everything I can get and see light as the #1 plant food. Anything else is vitamins.

100% Agree.. That's my plan for this next round just using promix hp and Gaia green.. To be honest I find nothing wrong with non organic growing .. I was a DWC hydroponic grower for years using synthetic nutrients with amazing results..

Maybe growlights for salts and sunshine for organics? I have a thing about roots always moving in to new mix so I pot up a bit. Being able to move plants got to be a habbit. No rosin yet, my air conditioner needs done. :)
