Canadian Growers Group & Friends

My mucho dinero leds are tucked away so don't be dissing my old school stuff. :laughtwo: A mover does help with spreading out a pin point light source. Right now I've got a squash taking over the shed that was a volunteer from my compost. I must be at overgrow with weed, I'm more excited about the squash. :laughtwo:

interesting take on hanging the snail. i've always been critical of tents for not having hard mount points.

Hey Dubster, I'd be interested in hearing how your outdoor grown is different from the indoor grown ie. what does it smell and taste like and is the high substantially different when you make rossin with it?

hello Zem.. im am not very good at picking words to describe the flavors of the smoke .. the do si do is a little different for starters.. indoor and outdoor both good to smoke, but are different .. i cant explain in words..

come on over and lets write and novel on the subject after and during the sampling :)

this do si do is very potent..

might add i like potent more potent the better :) its so potent i cant remember my name holy cow really

the outdoor grown so far only 1 big white seed found in it.. vs 1000 on the indoor grown.. im not pressing
just smoking joints.. take out the seeds save a few thousand .. its growing now in my current grow..

Not a wonder it's called a roach, put some legs on it and it would run under the fridge. Very heavily covered in tarry resin. I bet that shit would incapacitate me in one toke. Thanks DD for the pic and your grow pics. I did some experimental vaping of my son's pot, cripes that stuff he grew outdoors in Calgary got me zooed with one bag from the Volcano. It is stronger than the seedy pot I grew for breeding purposes. Maybe the son has overtaken the father, except he doesn't really use pot much, too busy trying to get through grad school. He gave ounces of it away to his friends who gave it two big thumbs up on the quality. Still there are people who believe outdoor grown is inferior, I think you can grow good weed indoors or outdoors if you have the right genetics. I just find outdoor organic has a more intense aroma and a happier type high, but if anyone has experience and an opinion on that subject I'd be glad to hear it, I think it is a subject worth discussing. Stay well amigos. Adios.

i think a lot more difficult to grow outdoor and we only get 1 shot at it per year.. i just need a retractable roof green house .. to bring it home.. wow the skydome be good..

ps thats not a roach .. yet! to big.. when i cant hold in fingers tips its a roach.. that there is the best part of a joint..

I heard there's a group of growers in the US that decided to test for themselves which is stronger.
They took large numbers of identical clones and split them up growing half of each batch indoors and the other half outdoors. After harvest they tested them, and the outdoor buds had higher levels of all cannabinoids and terpenes across the board.
I think they were called Sunna Ra?

Great lead, Mellie. I googled it and found an article that supports what you said:

Essentially, it said that there were a greater number of different cannabinoids produced outdoors and that made sense. No man-made light will compare to the full spectrum and intensity of our Sun. My theory which is unproven and unsubstantiated is these other lesser quantity cannabinoids do make a difference in the quality or type of high we experience, and some (even in minute quantities) can be quite impactfull in the overall effects. Also, it says a greater number of terpenes are found in outdoor grown weed, and that some were found only in outdoor grown weed. So to be fair I'm not trying to knock anyone's indoor grown weed, and if I had to buy indoor organically grown weed I wouldn't hesitate at all. The thing is I keep reading that people believe outdoor grown weed is somehow inferior and I want to put that notion to rest, but I need more evidence, and again just my opinion. Please tell me of your experiences.

And Dube, when I lived in Africa the Basotho locals would roll joints made of newpaper that were a foot long or so, and shaped like an elongated cone, two inches wide at the largest part and it tapered to a fine tip, and easily filled with nearly ounce in each one. And here is what's interesting - they put that fat end in their mouth and lit the tip. Their "roaches" would be two inches long and an inch wide . They had the biggest roaches of all, haha.

i think my indoor is more potent.. but the outdoor has more flavours in a good yr.... might not be the sun and the light differences .. i think a lot more to do with the fungi world out doors in the ground alot better then indoors..

Interesting, yes it could be insects and moulds that make the plant produce terpene compounds as a defense mechanism, the way coca plants produce cocaine as an insecticide.
