Clones or seeds?

They are both clones of female plants, the females that are currently falling over with fat buds in the flower tent. I need to post pics, the girls are looking super frosty. They are extremely sticky and so dank that if I touch the flowers my hands still stink the next day.

Yup it did, the one that grew the fastest is the one without pistils. Umm female plants don't just turn male do they? That sounds kinda silly... but I dunno they should be growing at about the same rate. If anything the one in the flower tent should have all the pistils.

Good news everyone! Our experiment was a sucess! The two headed BS is growing. Turns out cutting off the main cola and sticking in right in the dirt with a little water works. Screw the peat pellet. Lol, my Monstercropped AG is going straight into a red solo cup. Still waiting for TD to sprout, so I may roll another fatty. (Pronounced Fat-eh due to the top shelf bud being used)

Hey Derbybud! Welcome! Thank you for the compliment. I wish I had updated pics to show you guys. My 6 way LST on the BS is growing very evenly. Also LSD #1 will soon be getting chopped, i took lots of nice pics of her. You would think getting pics working would literally be the #1 concern here... a picture is worth a thousand words.

Good news everyone! Our little tangerine dream has germinated. She is starting to poke out of the dirt and soon it will be officially day 1 for TD. Of course pics don't work again now.... grrr.

I wasnt sure if putting a stick in the dirt would actually work lol. My next experiment i will try to take a clone just before the plant gets chopped. Also i still want to try a full re-veg after the chop.

What are you doing to try to clone? What kind of soil? What temp and humidity? What kind of water? I use tap water lol. What kind of light is it under? I'd ask what part of the plant but you can use any branch that has a good couple sets of nice leaves.

The catnip died when I forgot to water it for a couple days... doh!

With TD sprouting the veg box is gonna be too small, the other LSD will get flipped within a couple days maybe even tomorrow.

I went back to the peat pellet for TD because for me it's a guarantee that I will get a good sprout with nice roots. One attempt at the seed straight in the solo cup didn't end well because when I watered it the seed must have floated up or something and the taproot was damaged beyond saving. I don't want to risk that with expensive seeds. The peat pellet holds the seed nicely and it's also fairly easy to do.

I've tried cloning 7 ways to Sunday and finally got 3 of 4 when I went to peat pots (not pucks) and split the stems with a razor before I buried them in my potting soil/perlite mix. It was a long trip to success and I'm not even sure it's repeatable, but I've run out of room for a while anyway so that's a problem for another day!

I sprout in peat pucks like yours which is why I asked why you switched back. Purchased seeds are damn expensive!

Little update today. For valentine's day TD sprouted. She got moved into a 'giant' red solo cup. Because of this the veg box had to be reorganized. LSD 2 got an up-pot and she got flipped into the flower tent.

So right now in the veg box is have a BS that is getting kinda big, the two headed BS clone, an AG monstercrop, and the new Tangerine Dream seedling.

In the flower tent I have LSD 1, LSD 2, AG (12/12 from seed), and the newly flipped LSD 1, and LSD 2. This time I took no clones, but I have plenty of feminized LSD seeds, so it's time to move on.

Another update today. The little TD is growing quickly! Her first true leaves are spreading wide to gobble up all the available photons. Wish I could post pics... Funny how 420mag started having issues around the same time 420 updated their app... coincidence?

I read that there doing away with the app as it has too many issues & bugs that the developer in China hasn't been working. Until they can acquire a new web developer to basically start over it will be unsupported. Not good
