CG, where can one find a recipe for making this tincture? And then what exactly are tincture applications? Old man here wanting to learn new ways, thanks.
A lot of tinctures, salves, etc will work better if you make a Concentrated Cannabis Oil (CCO/RSO) first. The two ingredients are the same (everclear and cannabis) but the method is different.
To extract your oil without all the green and wax you get by a slow extraction, cold and fast extraction seems to work best.

There is also another simple method using infused olive oil and fresh harvest cannabis that seems to be about as good but doesn't have the long history of treating cancers and other illnesses ==>

If I were looking for medical treatment, I would start with Radic's Method (the first link.)
For recreational use, cooking, and non life-threatening medical conditions, I would chose Fresh Harvest Oil (the last link)
My two cents - I only browsed Scientifics tincture method quickly, when I saw let it sit for a long time, I was concerned that it will extract a lot of chlorophyll and such and stopped reading. My opinion is only worth the 2 cents because I haven't done any of them, just reading up and following the trends on the 420 boards for a couple of years.
