Can you run 315w LEC/CMH bulb off a 400w HPS ballast?

Hi. How long do you use 315w cmh bulb on 400w hps ballast? I wonder if I use double ended 630w cmh bulb on 600w hps ballast. That's works?

@Barefootgardn i will be receiving a lumii black digital ballast kit shortly i believe it has setting of 250, 400 and 600watt not to sure of inbetween... Do you think i can do the same?

315cmh bulb will run in a 400w MH ballast, non digi?! This would be great.

From my understanding, that mogul base 400w isnt the top shelf spectrum CMHs are renowned for. CRI is only 80, vs 91+. Havent seen the 400w spectrum mind you. Also know it needs a square wave for you electrically minded peeps.
