Can someone tell me about purple stems on early clones

Hotshot, i wold not worrie, like many before me said. I have had this question on other forums before and got some good info from it.

If the purple stems on the fan leafs, start showing on the upside of the leafs, then and only then you can start to worrie, Add some more P and wait a few days and see what happens.

In my case its both strain and light that makes them purple, my Cheese that are under the LED are all purple, mainstems leafs stems, everywere u look there is purple (not on top side of leafs tho). then ones under the HPS/CFL are showing just a little purple on the leaf stems.

If you grow with LED that has alot of red/far red this is to expect!

got 10 random seeds, and 4 of those are totaly purple on stems, and these are sharing light from me LED.


rule of thumb imo. If the plants looks funkie, but grow with normal rate! no worries!

Is this just the plan's normal color or a deficiency?

I grew a strain that had the identical leaves and was purple the same on the branches. Very good strain it was. It turned out to be male. But it was so stinky and strong smell to it. I loved it. I was mad I killed it instead of taking pollen to breed. But to me the purple colot=r was normal. It always had it threw its whole growth cycle. As well as the super sark green leaves. Like a forest green color. It was a beautiful plant indeed
