I understand the old growth won't ever recover or revert
I just didn't expect that affected leaves would get worse.
I thought they would more or less just stay at their various states of damage and decay.
I guess I was mistaken.
Yes it seems that the healthy growth has FINALLY started to deepen to an appropriate shade of green.
I took a huge risk and really fed HEAVY.
Like the largest dose listed on the bottles.
Flushing I think was the key. Our water is so hard like I said.
One shower leaves the glass of the shower door coated in calcium.
It must have been inhibiting nutrients from being absorbed.
Everything was good until the plant got huge, and using mainly bottled water became impractical and it required more water.
I'm going to say this is solved and thank you all so much! It's great to be a part of a supportive community. I'm excited to get involved more.
So I don't know if it's appropriate to keep this thread going or if there's a better place but once she's all harvested and manicured I'll share the results somewhere.
I took pics and documented the progress.
Maybe I will make a journal. It could help someone avoid the same mistakes.
