Camaro’s Torture Chamber

I've seen many different dilution rates, from 1-4 tablespoons DE per gallon of water to 4-6 tbsp for a spray bottle to as much as 8 tablespoons into every 2 cups of water. I think I used 4Tbs/16 ounce spray bottle when I did my DE test. Try to spray up on the bottoms of the leaves so you don't mess too much with photosynthesis on the tops.
Stopped at my local grow shop and unfortunately they’re pretty much wiped clean of everything most useful. No DE or Spinosad locally sadly. Only thing I could grab was azamax, I have some iso at home that I’ll have to use for now as well. Between everyone else near harvest and this pandemic BS I’m pulling my hair out, usually stock 91% iso but the only thing around right now is 40% ughhhhh. Grabbed a couple hand pressure sprayers too for easy application and soo I can start doing foliar sprays, never have in the past

Upon further inspection when getting home, surprisingly I’m only seeing them on one plant, which is the first and only one I checked to be honest, I’ve checked the other plants just now and it seems like everything else is clear, I took the offender and put her outside, no way in hell Im letting an infestation get bad after finally getting my room soo it’s perpetual, no way! Soo I have 3 to chop, one got tossed out and we still have 11 in the flower tent, getting ready to switch the GMO into flower to determine if the mum is truly a mum, or a dad, hope it’s not a bastard, it’s growing too beautifully to want to kill it :lot-o-toke:

Ended up cleaning the entire room extremely well with ISO in a pressure sprayer. Took all the plants out before wiping the floors and down with it as well, very time consuming lol. Hopefully back up and going now though and going to follow up in a couple day. In the process of trimming up the 3 plants that were ready to chop

Little update on the ladies outside, weather has been holding off fairly well thankfully, given that I just tied everything open I’m not going to be able to bag them tonight before it rains, soo fingers crossed it’s a light rain. The northern lights is getting close to finished, I’m probably going to end up cutting colas off the top and let the bottoms finish up longer. Hoping for only 2 weeks max left on those 2. The glueberry og was going slower at first but she’s starting to pack the weight on heavy now, upon tying branches back I accidentally snapped 2. Oopps and ohh well lol. There’s still plenty of branches to grow big. Hoping for only 3 more weeks on those 4 gals. Here they are, updates on the indoor gals later on tonight!

I guess the northern lights crept up on me last night and prevented me from posting, whoops :lot-o-toke: Soo I guess here’s a morning shot inside, inside the veg tent I removed a couple GGDP plants that were overwatered and slacking big time, unfortunately running a perpetual room, I don’t have time or room for those ones soo the compost pile they went. This also allowed me to spread the rest out a bit though and up-pot the gmo to a 3gallon pot. I’m giving that plant approx 2 weeks before switching it to flower, the gender is still unknown soo we’re hoping this training was worthwhile.

Then we have the flower room, cranking along per usual, Ive only seen a mite or 2 here and there, I’m getting ready to spray again tonight with iso, but their numbers are small enough now I’m hardly concerned with how rare I see them. The blue cookies is looking amazing ehh? I’m getting excited to have a couple new good and established strains to be able to have in the mix.

Everyone in the veg tent is looking nice and happy, and no matter how many times I tie down the gmo it refuses to stay down for long, it is very resilient, I reallyyyy hope it’s a female

We’re due for an update but the only lights on currently is the one for the cloner. Yesterday we ended up chopping some top branches off the 2 outdoor northern lights, trimmed em up and hung to dry in the drying box, and had to jar up some indoor NL we harvested that now needs to be cured. I’ll try to get some pictures of everything up in the morning when the lights come on after I water them all, feeding time means having wake up extra early to mix nutes cause I just don’t have the drive to do it tonight :lot-o-toke:  Smoke one up everyone. Or a few for that matter

I’m wayyy overdue for an update, sorry guys and gals, life has caught up with me a little bit and slowed me from posting but the room has been cranking along just fine. All the outdoor plants have been cut and after drying and curing sadly I only got a QP out of the 4 glueberry og, the 2 northern lights easily produced that. I can’t complain for some plants I intended on tossing out completely this spring. I ended up making a makeshift rain shelter to buy time from bud rot, but it only bought me a limited amount of time before we had a couple really cold nights, they went thru a heavy frost and 2 days after they had a night at 28 degrees, I cut. It was colorful as one could imagine, and had a strong smell to it, there was tiny tiny little pieces of rot here and there which were to be expected with how many times the plants sat thru rain

Indoors things have slowed down in the flower tent a little bit. All the northern lights is currently cut from flowering, staying short with the plants and limited lighting currently has keep the little ones around roughly 1.5 ounces per plant, not a lot, but enough to keep the head smoke going without having to buy any. Still in the flower tent however, we have 2 blue cookie plants and a great grand daddy purple, I just did some heavy super cropping on all 3, we’ll see how both strains react to the abuse

The veg tent is looking rather full, we have a blue cookies momma and a ggdp momma going on there just plucking along, ready to take more cuts off them to be honest after I clean the cloner out, it’s been thru 2 runs on the same water without cleaning. The first batch being some more northern lights babies we took, I just can’t get rid of the strain, despite it being a low yielder, there’s something about it that all connoisseurs can appreciate, soo stay it must.

Nice update and congrats on pulling a harvest out after all that! Doesn't look like a lot of fun to trim, but only a few spots of rot is definitely a win.
:welldone:

Love the rain shelter too. The erector set I had as a kid could never have built that :).

That's the goal!
It was NOT fun to trim, I spent a solid 18 hours straight trimming as much as I could before it went all limp and impossible to trim, but couldn’t get thru it all before I had to work the next day, and I got discouraged soo it sat for a day or 2 and did become impossible to trim hahaha, most went into the idgaf pile and is in the freezer after being dried, it will make for a good butter or oil batch at the very least, and the QP of glueberry I did set aside my old man ended up getting. The racks were a last minute thought as it was downpouring, the tarp helped but with a week straight of rain, they didn’t get much light the last couple weeks which I know hurt the final numbers. Live and learn, but no complaints for stuff that would have been tossed otherwise. Outdoors is cool and all, but I think I do a lot better with my indoors for now lol. I had a couple plants wind up with PM inside, fortunately I saw the little speckles starting and I isolated all plants outside while I sprayed them with a iso mix in my pressure sprayer. And cleaned the flower room while it was empty. Haven’t seen any come back since. Small obstacles here and there, but it wouldn’t be a lifestyle if we couldn’t overcome them!

Our second batch of clones, has already rooted and been transplanted, I had cloned some GMO and Blue Dream in hopes of them being females, unfortunately, both plants that I switched to flower, were male. Needless to say, they all met their fate. Soo those took up 6 spots in the cloner. I had taken 8 blue cookie cuts and 2 GGDP as that’s what I felt comfortable taking from their mums. I had nowhere to put these gals, and have been talking about converting a closet to a mother room for a while now, the closet is 2’x10’ but I’m using 4.5 feet of that space and have a 4’ 4 bulb t5 fixture that came from work getting up fitted to LED in the shop, yay free stuff, it’s not the most ideal thing to use, but more powerful than t8’s and will veg some plants just fine, especially mothers. It’s constantly a work in progress and I’m constantly upgrading. Keeping a perpetual room going and keeping everything healthy can be hard at times, but if you keep at it, the end results are worth it, just keep grinding! These gals took a little heat and I had the light too close at first, they have since been lightly watered with nutrients, and just about ready for a second drink since transplant. I didn’t have anything to mix with my promix this time around soo to help with aeration, I decided to mix in some hydroton clay pebbles I had kicking around from my hydro setups, figured it cant hurt any lol
