Cajuncelt's Spring 2015 Grow - Blue Dream - Bubba Kush - Critical Cure - Etc

Home, ah.
Met Mr. & Mrs. GreenLiv today up in Denver & made CCO for them & got them under way. Very cool people.
Had to go in & plant a gazillion lil ones for the outdoor grows in Pueblo.

So, my stoner thought of the day....
Blue Dream. Really crazy strain. Too many phenos of it.
I like the sativa dominant that smells like blueberries, but is calming like an indica.

But what would be your chances of getting that pheno? It'd be nice if it was more stable. I know, I hear you already. The trick is to find that pheno and clone it. :laughtwo: See? I am catching on. Now I just need to learn to clone.

Question mon ami: with the essential oils, does it matter whether it's clove bud vs clove leaf and cinnamon leaf vs cinnamon bark? I opted for bud and bark, but I haven't sent the order yet.

Thanks mon ami. I'll wait to hear from you.

Kinda big update. Everything's a few weeks away from their next milestone.

Here's the Bubba Kush. She's coming down next week.

Impressive trichomes Cajun. This is what I can anticipate using essential oils? Oh yeah!

There's still lots of new pistils popping out. What's your criteria for harvest?

How long has the Vietnamese beauty been in bloom? It's so distinctively different. Such interesting leaf structure.

Trich color. They'll keep springing out for awhile, but it's easy to miss the window sometimes if you just watch pistols.
I go by trich color under a 60-100x handheld scope.
The Bubba I wanted to be real stony so I left her to get about 5% amber & even she has a week left.
The gals in the LED flower tent are the ones with a couple of weeks left.
The other on the left has a few more.
Nothing of mine, off the vine, before it's time.

:laughtwo: That sounded like a commercial. LOL!

My soil mix takes forever to go into amber and I like them almost solid cloudy anyway, so I usually watch those pistils. The HB crew was always riding me to let them go longer until everything was pulling back. One of the other Clackamas Coot's-style LOS cultivators lets his go until it's been a week with no new pistils. I'm not that patient, but I also don't have his inventory either.

God, I miss my garden.

A couple pages back I asked one that got lost in the shuffle.

The oils get applied beginning at three weeks into flowering. This obviously means photo flowering strains. How would that translate to autos?

Do you ever sleep????:circle-of-love: You posted this in the middle of the night, anywhere in the continental US!!!! Sleep girl sleep!!!

I would say I would start spraying the autos about 3 weeks into the time you see them flowering. When the buds start forming you can start spraying. Just my 2 cents. :circle-of-love: :peace:

Last pics of the Blue Dream. I think I pulled her at the right time.
I like more sativa qualities from BD, so I pull it at 90% cloudy, 10% clear.
That's pretty early for most strains, but seems to be the best for BD on my farm.
But on the spirit of transparency...she snuck up on me. I thought I had more time here so I didn't really let her go into fall.
Not a biggy for organics, but I'm a lil disappointed.

Yep, what they both said. Lol.
I will say that they need to be 100% healthy before issuing them out you're just wasting oil.

I can pull off healthy. After this extended break (this won't happen again I assure you - going freakin' nuts) I'm going to be on fire when I get started. Once I get rid of the thrips there's no looking back.

Supergroomer, sleep is as evasive here as it was at home. An hour ago I started to fall asleep. Miss that window by a few minutes, or be diverted (as in tonight) and I'm up until four, no matter what I try. At home I thought it was my constant diet of sativas. I can't explain what's going on here. I get my best writing done between 1-3 AM. Tonight I'm not completely recovered, so let me listen to your advice, step away from the iPad and try again. :circle-of-love:

This picture almost made me cry with the longing to be growing again.

:lot-o-toke:Seriously Cajun of the Celt world you feel a lil disappointed:jawdropper:
That's because of the trichs ?? Honestly she is so made up with Meds for you ,, I get what you are saying but the picture sue picked out is lovely I wish one would sneak up on me like that Just once even with the ratio of cloudy an clear,, I hope that she will really surprise you if I got this right she is a 50/50 Hybrid ? So with that much Indica in her Genes then I hope she will have what you are hoping for ,, and Have a great day at the factory:thumb::goodjob::hugs::hugs::geek::passitleft:
