C5R, I noticed from your pics that (I believe) the edges of your large leaves are standing up a bit , I'm having the same thing going on is this anything!? I had to adjust my nutes I think they were a bit high. I went from 1450 down to 1150, I was worried that I was on the verge of burning my plant again. Just wondering !! thanks for any info C5

Ol hippy those burnt leaves were from when the lights were lower and they grew and were touching the CFLs. its all over the plants. I would clip the edges off but Im lazy. Is that what your talkin about? 1500 ppm usually doesn't cause nute burn with mature plants

Thanks Test drive. Your still on your first grow and this is my second Deep Water Culture. There is a lot to learn yet for us both

Well they seem to of loved the nutes I added yesterday.. Both tanks are at 1200-1300 ppm. heres some pics
Hey CR5, my leaves turn that orange color too. Why does that happen?

Ok i had a feeling that was it....I also get orange spots on my leaves, that are not from burns. I figured some type of nute deficiency.

yah its just from the leaves hitting the lights. Take some pics of your plant Blitty

I noticed this plant damage about 12 hours after I did the rez change for the week. I do recall pouring some of the solution (which consists of nutes, ph down, and superthrive) directly onto this plant roots. Maybe that was too potent for dirext contact with roots..?

you know Blitty, I gotta agree with you. It looks just like burn from lights but if you look close, it does look like nute burn. Are the plants fine? Is it spreading? If not, I say your fine and it was from splashing the nutes on em.

The girls were showing a little nute burn at 1300. I added a gal+ of water and they are at 1100ppm. The nute burn stopped, thank god!
Your ability to "read" the plant is extraordiary! You've come a long way in a short time. You would be in the gifted class! LOL!

Thx MC. Its all from you guys lol well and a few other people. When do trichs usually get cloudy?
