can any experienced cookers give a few pointers to a new cheif.....

Like how hot is too hot? anyone use a thermometer???......

any other advice would be great
 
Well cheif...

When I cook using butter and weed, I'll let the butter get a little greenish tint to it before I back it off the heat. Remember now, it's not so much the heat that is causing the THC to be extracted from the weed, it's the fat in the butter.

How hot is too hot? When the weed starts smoking, it's too hot, and at that point, you've probably ruined a good batch of cannibutter; I don't know any other way to tell.

i used about 3 pounds of butter and 5-6 pounds of foleage (can't Spell) threw it all in a crockpot let it cook for a day or two and remove the weed leaves, and use it in your food. worked for me

he has his sources... keep in mind that is was foliage... trimmings... i.e. they were taken off fresh plants... quite a few plants... you get the idea?
