Based on many of the questions new growers have made asking for help bluter has a very valid point. I am thinking of the 'new growers' who state they have never planted a seed or grown anything before but are ready to start the new hobby. They spend hundreds of dollars on a tent, filter and fan and some lights, often under-powered. They mention the research they have done but have to be told whether the plant they are growing is in flower or not, whether it is male or female or why it turned all brown and yellow.

So, yes, new growers, especially those who have never grown a plant of any kind, should get their start by letting the first several plants grow without any interference such as the removal of leaves and branches or anything beyond the most basic training.
I understand your point. I just don't agree with you.
