Burmese Kush First Grow

Thanks a lot for looking in on my grow funnystyle:)

I was making a cake with some hash inside, its cooking now.... So when I m waiting I took some photos of the girls with my old camera. The Sony Ericson Aino 8,1MP is much better then my new Samsung Galaxy S. The cam on the galaxy sucks, think its 5MP.

doing a fantastic job thr, any sign of thr sex ??
i had a prob with keeping the R.H up in y tent, was dropping as low as 25-20.
was'nt doing good for my young 1s n was stunting thr growth, with a 5" in and a 6" out creating a negitive pressure within the tent (120-120-200m) whitch prevent any stail air. i found tha when i moved the inlet fan pipe blowing over the 400w hps bulb it boosted R.H to a healthy 45-50.
only problem i have now is keepin the temp right as it sit's at 32-35c ?
they dont seem to mind the high temp and are starting to grow well at a steady rate, as they are into there 6-7th week they range from 6-8" tall with few leaves around.
with a bad start a just hope they will be fine.

I was also struggling with low humidity in the start, but after I transplanted to 18L pots its been the other way. I have a tendency on this grow to under do everything with lamp, nutes, and water. But I have learn so much from this.

Open the tent on the beginning of day 5 in flower. I found 2girls:cheer: I snapped two pictures of them. Could see the white hears good on the picture before I resize them. Its now so easy to se now..

gr8 you got 2 shoul get some mean smoke off them girls! :hookah:
i have the R.H under controle now thank god!
they have grew more in the last day than the last 2 weeks altho some r worse than others were have hade to take some leaf's (brown,curled,shrivald up) didnt want to risk any spread would say 6-7 out of 10 are healthy and looking good.

Thanks, yes I hope they stay this way. Looking forward for some good med for the Christmas.

Im now down to 7plants. Started with 10 seeds. 10germinated, but I only got 8 to come up from the soil. I now have spotted 6girls. One is still not showing. The last one did not show anyting yesterday, it was the worst and tallest plant, and I needed the space.
 
1 Week of flower

So I guess things are starting to happening... By the way all 7 are female, so I have lack of space... Guess they where fem. seeds anyway.

I gave water and nutes 2 days ago. I was then up at the same amount as on the schedule made by biobizz. They have stretched a lot lately. They are now about 70cm above the dirt. Have not moved the lamp in a while, so they have been growing closer. They are now about 45-50cm above the plant without showing damage. Guess I have to move it soon. Think they are still looking good. And I am going to follow the biobizz schedule from now on.

Note to myself: Next time keep the damn lamp closer....

Thinking about killing one more plant for the space...

hey Burmesekush just stoppin by, just lookin thru and i was wondering wasnt 18" distance from the lights to the top a rule of thumb? you will definately yield a sick harvest i can just feel it haha.

btw, if you have time stop by my journal mate i cant believe how much i learned here and decided to just continue with a new batch of seeds ( my first got destroyed by my dog...) seeya! :popcorn::popcorn:

seem's a bit pushed for space in thr.
i also follow the biobizz root, workd well in my last gro of WW/WR :tokin:
with a yeid of 2-3 oz dry of clones. probs would have been more bt they wer chopped down early due to moving house.
oh and i also have found 2 fem's out of ten up to now( they r 9" tall and havent been pre flowerd) from a pack of reg seed's is it pos that the 2 showin are fem seed's ??????

Nope dont have any more space for flowering. I have to take one down today. I will try to clone it. Or will I be better to kill 2plants so Im down to 5? I realy dont feel good about killing good female, but I have to do somthing, almost no light at the lower branches..

How much bigger do this things get?

if you have the space for some clones 1 or 2 would do, only problem u have with that is space when they grow (your clone's would be the size they are now by the time you have budded those bby's).
is thr no way of keeping 1 as a mother to your next grow?
keep it short by topping or tie her down under a 125w cfl or T5 (a large cardbord box lined with mylar r sumthing along them line's) 2 x computer fans(in/out) would do the trick.
Then you could clone her 2-3 weeks before you flowering is done. (you may have to kill your mother then as room will be needed for the clone's)
by then they should have a stable root system, 2 weeks in your tent 18/6 then budd them!
Or you could put straight on 2 12/12 (if you have a MH bulb) 2 weeks with the blue MH on 12/12 then switch to hps 12/12.

oh and they can grow upto 3x the size on budding! :tokin:

Shmicky is right, they generally stretch 2-3 times the size they were at the end of the vegetative stage. This is a good thing to know when space is a problem. There are many pruning techniques like topping, LST and SuperCropping that can help you keep your ladies tame. Also, stretching amounts are strain dependent. So if you have a sativa or sativa dominant hybrid, I would count on 3x stretching. And for indicas and indica dominant hybrids, you would be safe assuming 2x stretch.

So they have now 11 day of flower. They are really growing tall on me. I have the XL homebox so I have 200cm in hight, but I only have like 40cm more to adjust the lamp. I guess the plant was to far away sometime before. Because it have been realy close the last days. They have more then dobbel the size the last 11 days. Not much brancing. Did not take group picture today, will do it next time.


I have now only 6 girls in there. Killed one, but I cloned it before. I also I have clone of the one I killed the first time. Dont know if they will survive. Take 3 from each plant. From the first plant I put them straight in soil, the other one I put in a cup of water. Got some clonex today, is will put this on the girls in water tonight and put them in soil. Guess I will try too keep a mother, wich I can take clone from when I need medicine. Going to build a box for them later. Want to keep this genetics.

Day 12 of flower.

Today was the first day with the HPS bulb. Gave them a new round of dolomite lime. I have slowly worked my way up so my runoff is now about 6,4.

Did try to take some pics but I cant get good pictures with this bulb. Its all so yellow, anyhow I posted pics yesterday. Hope I find a good way to edit this before next time. Because now the fun have started :)
