Budworshipper's CFL Auto Flowering Small Cabinet Journal

Hi everybody...

Not sure exactly, how old she is but its about 4 weeks now. Mother natures cycle is turning towards autumn... As we are expecting ok weather for next few weeks at least.. I thought it best to flip the girl !!!!

My first flip , lost my photo cherry. :ganjamon:

Switched it too 12/12 this evening. Bearing in mind the night time temps could drop some towards end of flower, they are going to be on over nite.

Gave her a surface dressing of ash. A feed of tank water and an organic tomato feed.. It contaings seaweed extract too..

No more chicken poo now....

Have dropped her to floor level now..

I am loving the shades of colours in this girl. No deformaties/mutations as of yet.

Very little smell, even up close.... Move the foliage and you do get a smell... Still faint tho.

Anyways the LST has worked a treat. .. Thankyou everyone who's journal i have read...

Here are a few pics, some clearer than others

Enjoy your weekends my friends

2 days into 12/12...

I went upto check on her today... The main has turned back towards the light and gained some height. So i retied her nearer the top and stretched her out again. Didnt want it blocking light to the other developing sites. You can see the difference between the girl in the pics.

Added 2 more 11w warm white Cfls...

Wrapped the pot in carpet to help maintain warmth. The fan is off. In a measure to increase the heat in the space. No smell really, so why wear out the bearings..

I would not use carpet in your grow area. I would worry about the carpet holding mold spores during flower.

also if there are any natural fibers at all (even the backing, which is often jute) might be a good place for moths (or other critters) to lay eggs

Otherwise, looks great ;)

thanks for input...was kinda hoping it would be a temporary measure.

ive been looking at little heaters, and somebargains are about....heres a question tho. ???

for the roughly the same price im looking at a 250w hps sysytem..its virtually brand new, dual spectrum bulb...now i know this produces heat, which will solve my situation and gives the added benefit of more intensive light to flower away on.....i will obviously be running my fan all the time if i use this system ( gotta win it yet )....would this be overkill in my space ?...also will it knacker up the bulbs if i had it on for say 3 hours, then of for an hour, like simulating a slighty cloud at times day...it wont cause problems with flowering as there will always be light within the 12 hour lighting..also will it produce a big heat signature if the " filth" go buzzing over ?

just exploring my options really.....

any input would be very welcome

thankyou :peace::Namaste:

A quick pic update..

She was getting dry so gave her another drink with some added tomato ferts... Should be getting some proper nutes very soon..

Re tucked a few fan leaves, to open up the growth sites.. The 2 top ones on the main stem.

Definatly signs of elevated growth happening.

Very green and pretty! Nice new growth.

I don't remember how much space you have in your grow area, and I don't know what your price range is. I rely on my LED light to provide a lot of the heat for my closet grow and I just ordered another to make sure I have coverage for the second plant.

The only reason I ask is because LED's don't put off as much heat for the "eyes in the sky" to see with their special lenses, and they don't draw as much power from the electric company.

Anyone for worm casting tea ??

Harvested this little lot from my lawn just a minute ago. Mixed it with rain water... Gave some to my chilli plant, the rest is going on the girl.. Gotta love free nutes... This will be last castings feed.. Dont wanna over do it... Leave time for the plant to use it up during flower...

The light option is gone.. 2 muppets in a bidding war... Seriously ramping up the price... I will let them overpay..

I do plan to go down the LED route..

Just skint at the mo.... Really annoyed too, i am owed money, after doing work over a month ago... The person is not returning calls and avoiding me.... I have had enough, time for my other side to be unleashed i think...
I done them a favour, got them out of the shit and they do this....

Got no weed to smoke... Cant wait to be self sufficent, the weights are dropping again... Shit quality, all spun within an inch of its life too...

Amen Budworshipper! My dream is to have a nice perpetual grow so I don't have to mess around trying to keep some quality meds for myself. I'd no doubt need a bigger space for that, but at least I'm learning a lot for when I can have a bigger space.

Take it easy - Hope it all works out for you :peace:

A High Intensity Discharge light system or a LED light panel would greatly improve the quality of the light your plants are receiving. Giving your plants a dark period during daylight hours would stress your plants. I would not turn off the light source during daylight hours of flowering. The life of a High Pressure Sodium light bulb will be reduced the more times the light bulb is powered.
