Ok.... A little pic update for you all..

Cerdito has shot up this week , i will doing some LST on her later. Over the last few days i have been gently bending the branches, to ensure suppleness and too ready her for the LST too come.

Also a shot of the poo pellets..

I have just watered her with a rain water n poo pellet mix. Her compost was getting dry, pot was light.

Long live Cerdito

I have done the LST ...

The main stem has been massaged gently over.. It will get tied down tommorow, but only to the height it is now.

My first proper attempt at LST... I used wool to do it..

Hows it looking ??.... I havnt gone too far ??

not an LST expert but I think you should bend the top away from the light if you want the plant to focus on the lower nodes. My plant didnt start focusing energy on the lower nodes until they were the closer ones to the light. The plant will naturally seek out light if you want those tied down nodes to be the ones growing larger you should tie the main stem down toward where the pictures were taken from. If the main cola continues to get an optimum amount of light it may just negate the fact the lower nodes are tied and continue to grow the main cola towards the light. Im a beginner at LST as well and this is just my basic understanding. If you look at my plant I turned the main cola away from the light until the lower growth started extending towards it then turned it back once it stretched. which gave me another whole arm that has a growth point on it.

I did release this plant from LST once I realized it was for sure an auto and did not want to slow its growth but that is the only LST experience I have so some other big wigs may want to weigh in with lots of LST experience.

Thanks for reply SH

I have tied the main down further since that pic. The top is curling back towards the light, but not pulling back upright.. There was a small branch, just down from the bend.. It seems to be taking the place of the main bud. It has grown up towards the light and doubled in size.... So hopefully i have a nice new arm starting. Happy days

I would say if youre going to tie down the lower nodes like that you should have side lighting. Im not an expert on LST at all the plant you see from before is the first one I did and never finished it but you will want those lower nodes to have tight spacing as well to produce bigger buds and since they tied down they will just stretch further for the light giving you long spacing. How long do you plant to veg for?

hi

yeah she has grown somewhat...and yes she is an Auto.....:cheesygrinsmiley::cheesygrinsmiley::cheesygrinsmiley:

just experimenting a bit with the old LST thing....keeping her close to the light at the moment...new main stem seems to be doing well too....when i drop her down to the lowest height i will release some bits and train others then.

its my last seed and it was the biggest of the 3.looking at new beans at the mo....oh the choice

:Namaste:
