Believe it or not I've been trying to resist sticking my hands in the worm poo, too. It stains my nails for several days, and that's a little gross, even for me.

Hurray for the chicken manure being back in stock!

Someday when I move out of suburbia and get the farm/woods I want, I plan on having chickens, goats and maybe alpaca. Fresh eggs and poo all the time. :slide:

That's all still just a day dream right now though... :tokin:

The only thing with fresh chicken poo is that it is very " hot ".... Can burn any plant really, let alone weed.. Just to let you know,also it stinks fresh... Really ammonia strong..

The pellets are kinder and more stable.. Dont breath the dust tho..

Oh yeah, I plan on composting out the wazoo.

I want one of those compost piles that is 10 feet high that you turn with long boards.

I plan on growing veggies and grains, too. And fruit trees!

I'd like to be as self-sustaining as possible with as little 'trash' as I can manage.

It's just so much healthier for me and for the planet.

Ok.... I have took some pics of the developing La Diva, she moaned about favourtism

Leaves are a darker, deeper green on her compared to her neighbour

I have a new toy ordered.... Mini 60x scope, with fitting for iphone 4... Awesome...

I have just been very naughty.... Just clipped a top bud of la diva... Well top of side branch anyway... As research of course, into the breeders claims.... She is upside down in a dark cupboard to dry...

Hope scope arrives soon.. Cant wait to see the crystals up close... If all goes well i shall be posting some trich shots soon.

Did have a look at usb scopes too..

Made up a new wormcast tea today.... Gave the seedlings a little tipple !!
 
I have been toying with the idea of adding extra light for the next grow.. The plants are not suffering, but i have noticed the buds under the main canopy are starved of light somewhat... So

I was kinda thinking of more cfls or ideally some extra red leds.. I have seen some nice e27 red led bulbs... Kinda thought buying a cable for each one was a bit pricey/ overkill. I found this on fleabay... Thought it mite help keep things simple.

Its a 3 way splitter, from an e40

Thinking of mounting it half way down the back of cabinet... Shine onto lower buds, gain weight

Any thoughts ?
