Both - first grow and first journal. I just started growing in Dec 2010.Is this really your first grow or is it just a first journal?
things seem to be going pretty good.
damn nice grow room everythinig looks great. haha the little alaskan thunders hope they turn out and the seeds. Your big mother is looking nice starting to bud nicely
thanks bro...and thanks for the ATF clones and seeds. It is going to be real nice here in the next couple months!
Tell me you can't wait for that Rainbow to finish!~ I know I can't!!!
UPDATE:
So, my wife is in Eurupe until Feb 1st, and as such took the camera. So no pics.....
Veg room: alls good in the hood.
Bloom room. No bugs, bt mother is getting huge (I will try to get a pic for you all, she is very pretty with all the juicy buds filling out now). She is on day 29 of flowering.
There are also 7 other mothers in the room now.
I am also doing a test/experiment:
both White Widow replanted and put into the flowering room...the difference?
1 is in a 5 gal hempy, the other is in a 2 gal hempy.
This means, it should take less time for the 2 gal plant to hit the reseviour, but of course it will have a smaller root structure than the 5 gal plant.
Which will get a better yield? We shall see...we shall see.......
Basically I want to see if I can get away with finishing a plant in a 2 gal without losing too much yield, rather than the big 5 gal buckets which limit how many plants I can flower due to how much space they taqke up...and how much taller they are.
Hey BT how's things? One thing about perlite is that it doesn't retain water very well, if you look at most perlite root balls the roots are concentrated in the bottom half.
To combat this guys mix vermiculite or coca, say 20-30%, into the perlite. They retain water better and allow roots to use more of the upper part of the container.
So if you're looking to maximize growth in smaller containers that's something to look into. It's what I've started doing with my next grow, smaller clones in 2-liters.
