Absolutely! Why wouldn’t you be able to? ...I use screw in hooks and screw them into the top of my net pots so I have plenty of hooks to tie my branches down with.Might sound like a silly question; but are you able to do LST on plants growing in Hydroton ?
Might have to drill some holes in the sides of my bucket lids if I can do LST. Just not sure if plants are stable enough for that in Hydroton.
Me Too & I already have the hooks because I was going to screw them in the walls for a SCROG net but changed my mind because of bucket changes. That’s an awesome idea, I’m stealing it lol
That’s why we’re all here, to learn from each otherThat’s an awesome idea, I’m stealing it lol
Thanks for the info. Is the Mylar stuff I used OK for covering the Hydroton or too reflective for under the plant ?Checking you’re nutes ppm and ph question.....I find it easy, once the plant is to big and tied down, to use the site tube to empty some solution into a container and take the measurements from that. There’s a point where you won’t see the roots till you cut it down. If you’re worried about slime or root rot, don’t. It looked like you’re numbers are working out and the roots will be fine by now. Use you’re nose for smells when changing out you’re nutes. It’ll be a good indicator. You don’t see the roots in soil so....?
The hydroten will support you’re plant but also locking it into the hooks or a Scrog net Will give it added support it requires.
Looking good Bud, puff puff pass.
No it's not photosynthetic. I was more worried about something like light burn.I’ve seen others do it so I don’t think it will hurt, but I believe I read somewhere That the bottom of the leaf isn’t really photosynthetic
