Looks like you might need to up your nutes a little unless it's just your light making the leaves look light green in places. Not much though.
You could Super Crop a few of those branches out to the sides to increase yield & fill the plant in more.

Time for another update. Plants are starting to look like plants .... Hooray !!! They are looking fairly nice right now after the rough start. Getting more roots daily. Forgot to take pics of roots this time ...sorry. Quick question: Do you guys usually remove the entire bucket lid or just the net pot to check pH & ppm ? I've been just removing the net pot; but can't see continuing doing it that way with trying to get the roots through the 6" net pot hole. I don't have a lot of roots yet but already worried about damaging them removing just the net pot.
The other thing is I seen someone say I should cover the Hydroton so light doesn't get through to the roots. Is what I used OK like this (see pics) ?
Anyway, Room Temps are staying 72 - 77 F & RH 55 - 70%. Haven't checked VPD chart; but I'm pretty sure I'm in the correct range.
ppm has slowly dropped from about 350 to 320 over the past 2 - 3 days & water level has dropped a little. pH hasn't risen over 6.2 in a while now & I adjust it once a day back to 5.8.
I think my water level may be too high now that roots are coming out the net pot. It's right at the bottom with about 1/4" between the water & net pot. So only using 3 gallons at Res change tomorrow. Still going to use 4 grams of MC for 3 gallons as I did with 3.5 gallons. This should raise ppm slightly I think without increasing too much at once. I found those .5 gram jumps to be too much at once during my soil grow. They did better at .25 gram jumps.
So here's the latest pics. Opinions, Tips, Suggestions ?

Might sound like a silly question; but are you able to do LST on plants growing in Hydroton ?
Might have to drill some holes in the sides of my bucket lids if I can do LST. Just not sure if plants are stable enough for that in Hydroton.

What size baskets are they, I have 6” and it seems to b working fine, I did add a little lava rock on top because my basket wasnt completely full but it’s mostly hydroton, granted I don’t kno how it will hold up when it’s bigger and all heavy with buds but this is it now, well the first is a couple days ago, second is today

Absolutely! Why wouldn’t you be able to? ...I use screw in hooks and screw them into the top of my net pots so I have plenty of hooks to tie my branches down with.

Checking you’re nutes ppm and ph question.....I find it easy, once the plant is to big and tied down, to use the site tube to empty some solution into a container and take the measurements from that. There’s a point where you won’t see the roots till you cut it down. If you’re worried about slime or root rot, don’t. It looked like you’re numbers are working out and the roots will be fine by now. Use you’re nose for smells when changing out you’re nutes. It’ll be a good indicator. You don’t see the roots in soil so....?
The hydroten will support you’re plant but also locking it into the hooks or a Scrog net Will give it added support it requires.

Looking good Bud, puff puff pass.

Thanks for the info. Is the Mylar stuff I used OK for covering the Hydroton or too reflective for under the plant ?
