OK Folks big news

The blue cheese has been pulled :yikes:

I was waiting as long as possible and cutting out bud rot. I will say that without Serenade I would have very little, like last year. Anyhow there will be pics.

The plant will live on in another form... more on that later

I have a lot to do
 
Nice buds. Bummer to hear bout rot I hate the stuff. Serenade does help alittle. Well hope your Holiday is going good. Sounds like a harvest is coming in,,, congratulations. Keepem Green

So this is how it went. I decided a while back after the plant started to develop trichomes and a nice smell that if the bud rot got too bad the plant was coming down. Every day I found bud rot. I was on it so it did not get the chance to destroy the colas and was just finding small buds with some rot. Yesterday I found rot in one of the lesser colas and that was it... chop time.

I dunked these buds and blasted them with the hose real good then they dried outside for about an hour

Here is what I am doing for Spiffy. I am making a walking staff from the plant. The main stem by itself was too frail so I braided the three main stems together and tied them here for drying.

I took the roots that will represent BIDs hair and will trim this later. I will also add purple leather or suede for the hand grip and to secure the braid. It will take a while to dry and finish but when it is done I hope Spiffy will accept it as a memory from me :cheesygrinsmiley:

Good morning weed..... Holy Mackerel Buck them there buds are fantastic. Mighty fine and the walking stick is way cool. I'm sure Spiffy will cherish it. :Namaste:
 
Your bud trimming deserves a round of applause :bravo::bravo::bravo: It's a damn shame the bud rot forced you into an early harvest & the walking cane it a superb idea, I'm sure Spiffy will love & cherish it :)
