Buckshot's Perpetual Grow, LED, Pro-Mix, Evolving Feeding Routine

BID genetics huh? You say it smells like blue cheese, I say it smells like a POTM winner.

Sent from a Galaxy far, far away.

:cheesygrinsmiley: thanks Heir, the entire back yard smells like blue cheese and oranges :cheesygrinsmiley:

The inside smells like diesel and spice!

I have been growing this for a while (chemdawg x rpk) and I have never had such an actual fuel stenching one such as this one (hard nugs too)

Here is some spice... a Durple Pream hybrid

I don't know if you folks give thanks to whom/whatever every day but I do and mean it. As I look around at what I have been allowed to do I can't help but give thanks.

(PS I was at a low point and never submitted pics to that card game) < typing durple pream made me remember that, weird

It is not all roses outdoors. For years I have had a hard time growing blue moon shine outside (inside too) This year I think I understand it but now have to take steps to correct.

This I believe is zinc deficiency. I think it is caused by a PH that is too high for bm, she must have a small window as the others are thriving (but maybe I could make them better too) Anyhow most of what I can do will be for next years crop

Drive bye. Hey, it never hurts to add some azomite to the mix when your mixing up you soils. It's just ground rock dust that has all the minor, minor stuff soilless doesn't have. Gold, arsenic, siliver, zinc, copper, the list goes on forever. Isn't real costy and it goes a long ways, it helps in the making of a well rounded soil. I tried it this year, but it's a year I can't tell anything with my girls out there.
Not sure what fert's your using, but you might want to try adding alittle more nitrogen in the mix on that one plant. Or even an extra 10% of the micro nutrients in the mix. That is the nice thing about the three part fert's. You can adjust it pretty easily for certain plants that need a little kick here and there. All plants like alittle tweaking on their feeding formula. Keepem Green

Hey NC

I love Azomite, been using it outside for a couple years. Sometimes I throw a hand full in the pro mix too. I think I will blast her with a little grow. Thanks for the advice

Hey Folks

Compost girl is being chopped... bud rot...very little but I am not going to watch as it spreads like wild fire. I figure it takes 3-4 pounds wet to make one dry. I am about 1/2 way through trimming just colas (man am I hurting) and I have just over a pound. I did take last pics and harvest pics but I have a long way to go. I will post soon

Sorry to hear that Buck!:sorry:
I've got the same problem going on with my potted Sour Diesel x OG Kush x Hindu Kush plant in greenhouse #1 which I'm chopping tonight after the heat let's up a bit. The flowers are so dense that I saw this coming from past experience and a strain I'll never grow outdoors again. Grrrr!:lot-o-toke:

I was telling a friend about bud rot yesterday and even snapped this proud papa shot

I forgot to knock on wood, then went to look closer for problems... I noticed the tell tale signs and got the ladder. This is the first spot I found

29032.jpeg

After close inspection I noticed at least 2 spots... so into the cold water (I just use cold water)

29054.jpeg

A lot of painful trimming

I just trimmed tops last night and took the fans off the pile of left over branches (behind the plates) and hung them up

35.5 oz in wet trimmed buds with some left outside I figure another 10 oz in trimmed secondary buds

I would like to thank Seth Lavender aka B.I.D (Big Irish Dude) for the original blue cheese genetics that made this awesome plant

Thanks B.I.D

Bud Rott SUCKS. Just a idea you can try spot spraying with some actinovate. I was saying on another thread about I did try it, and seem to work on that plant. I wood try it again, 'when' I see some on my girls,,, if they make it this year. You got some nice buddage allready on her. She must have started pretty early? Keepem Green

Some of you may wonder, is the compost plant any good?

me too

It will be a while before those fat colas are dry... but I don't "smoke" :cheesygrinsmiley:

using only popcorn buds I made some "Live" resin < what bullshit :cheesygrinsmiley: I made fresh hash oil!!!

I have to see what the effect really is but so far the test dabs are quite impressive

:roorrip:

did I say quite impressive... I meant Holy Headrush!

:roorrip:

I just need to see tomorrow how it is all processed by itself... I had already been dabbing :cheesygrinsmiley: and had a shot of "Buck"

:roorrip:

for the rhumatiz :cheesygrinsmiley:

OK,

29255.jpeg

:roorrip:

apparently I did not knock on wood again... bud rot on the orange :cheesygrinsmiley:

Dang oh well it is caught early and there will be plenty

double dang 45-60 mile hour winds with dime size hail on top of us

yay

I'll tell ya man you should try spot spraying with that 'actinovate ag'. Stuff seemed to work well. I know it stoped the spreading on an experimental plant I tried last year. It's a biological fungicide. Bud Rott is a real tricky one to stop. Sure isn't any magic cures out there. Mostly all you can do it cut the infected buddage out. GL and try to Keepem Green

Hey NC

Thank You ... and everyone for stopping in. Bud rot is a fact of life where I am at. I actually think I am doing better this year. Compost girl was sent  to help that. Even though she got rot she was so early the buds were fully formed and frosty. For me it is not the rain so much as it is the dew and mist. I will be chopping for a while, bud rot or not I am happy with this years harvest already. I might try actinovate next year using up what I already have.
