Yes, but not the Bush Doctor Sledgehammer but I have it. It's for flushing your plants if you think you have salt build up, I guess.

I hear you, I'll start adding them in on next feed. I can be a bit neurotic over some stuff and I kind of have gotten hung up on organic. I think sledgehammer and kangaroots are the only two I don't have. But I think the kangaroots is more for clones from what I've read and I'm not currently trying to clone anything just looking for my first successful grow.

I appreciate your feedback, I'm already using 2 that aren't organic so might as well use them all like you're saying and get best results I can. Thanks again dude!

Any Cloning Gel if you do clone will work. Avoid Cloning Powders Gel is best.

And if you do clone, clone the Mother Plant always so the Genetics remain the same continuously.
 
Good evening everyone!

Day 51 from sprout.

As suggested, I've added the cal mag, extra tsp of GB, and Boomerang as suggested in the feed schedule. With everything on the schedule it brought my ppm up to 775 and balanced my tap at 6.35.

Both plants are exploding with growth and I'm wondering if it may be time to do some defoliation. I'm not sure yet how I am going to tackle it. Any tips or if anyone has some good detailed posts with some defol tips would be great.

They haven't really stretched much the last couple of days, have been growing bushy instead. Starting to take more room and I may need to add second panel light now because my ppfd is getting lower on the edges, reading 400s on outside and 600s in the middle.

Their canopies are pretty even across so I am hoping it's going to be easier to keep everything even through flip. GDP has a small height advantage, about .25-.5".

Bubba Kush has an extra fan blade growing out of the middle of some of the fans, thought this was interesting.

The ugly ... these brown spots have come back on GDP. Neighbor of mine says don't worry about them but I figured a second opinion wouldn't hurt. If anyone has any insight or ideas I'd appreciate it.

I have, even seen a tiny bud on top of a leaf a few times! Kind of like the self splitting/topping stems and the double bud, it's rare but weird stuff happens if you grow enough plants.

Thanks man! Definitely stoked about the outcome of this grow so far. About half way there just gotta get them across the finish line! She's ready to flip I think but I want to let the roots develop more and the stalk get thicker.
 
Good Morning All!

Day 53 from sprout.

Feed will be this evening but I woke up early and had some extra time this morning. I've been getting some wet spots between leaves and the lower fans were bullying their way above everything. Very hesitantly decided to do a defol and get some air circulating again.

Hopefully I didn't overdo it, I don't believe I did. I think they still have plenty.

My big lingering question now is when to flip. I believe they're ready, pistils everywhere, stalks are thick and strong. Do I coordinate my flip with this defol? Flip tonight? Flip after 3 days for recovery? I've seen both as well as no defol because they're the solar panels.

Very nice first grow going on here! Wish I started out with this nice of a setup. I'll stick around to see where this one ends up.

You have very nice healthy plants, I'm of the same opinion that you can flip any time, just keep in mind the extra stretching in flowering. You want to take up as much square footage with the plants as you can without letting them get out of hand.

I usually veg about 50-60 days before flowering two plants in a 2x4 area.

I'm closing in on 50 days veg. I've guessed about 14" before flip is my max. I have about 32" of plant clearance before I start getting too close to lights.

Thanks dude for the compliments. I'm proud of what I've accomplished so far. Just need to get these girls across the finish line!

Since Your using FF Ocean Forest you only need the trio nutes the others are for use in Happy Frog Soil and Hydroponics Grows. As I mentioned before if you think you have a Salt build up get the Sledgehammer flush. Lucky for me I never had salt build up but I have the Sledge Hammer on hand if I ever need it.

I've been reading and have been told both, use the trio only and use them all. My neighbor says he's been using same OF and FF nutes schedule for over a decade from week 5 or so on. Including trio and everything below.

I also see it's a nitrogen packed soil that doesn't really break down and release until later in the veg stage with the heavier wetting of soil so the synthetic nutes aren't needed as much later in veg with OF.

So many directions I'm not sure which to go. I felt with just the Trio they were doing well but looked a little lackluster. Also a first time grower so my perception of lacking may be wrong/off.

Once I started adding the other nutes it seems like they started perking up nicely.
