Broken plant

Hello everyone, first time grower here... I have read many threads and can't seem to find my issue.. i broke my main branch about a week ago i taped it and its still growing... today I noticed thre tape moved so I re-taped it but it's still broken under the tape... nothing is turning brown.... anyone have suggestions??

Maybe tape it then support it with bamboo stick on either side and zip tie to it? Pictures would help,

I’m sure if you duct tape it, it’ll develop a knot and be fine. If you are worried about it being top heavy then I’d suggest splinting it.

It just seems weird that's its not repairing its self but it's not turning brown either..

Was going to switch my lighting from 18/6 to 12/12.... should I wait another week or so?

I would wait personally, how old is the plant?

It’s up to you. I’d definitely veg longer, but that’s just MY opinion. Don’t know your circumstances. I’d let her heal up and veg longer.

Ok, like I said first grow... not 100% sure what i'm doing.... allot of reading trying to understand this whole thing. I'm in no rush, not sure when to actually do the switch.. she's only like 12" tall right now..

If you aren’t in a rush I’d say let her be, keep vegging and heal up, then flip

Thanks for the help... I'll try to put a splint on her to strengthen that area !! And give it another couple weeks before the switch.. hope this works hate to lose the top of my plant.. fingers crossed...

At what node is the break if its above the fourth node I might try to quadline it get more yield
