British Green's 1st 420 Grow Journal

They normally live happy as can be together . It's only when you introduce a new plant . The roots get use to each other when they live together but if I was to put a new girl with them she would kill the rest or vice versa . Roots do not like change and will happily brush each other in the tub . But a new roots they do not like . I found this out on a nft tray . I had ten girls on the tray all of them happy . One big root system that looked like a net curtain . I got given one new plant off a friend . So I put her at the top of the tray . When her roots grew into the others she slowly killed all the other plants . I didn't have a pot of glue as to what was going on . I seeked some expert advice . Told the guy what I done and he told me that it was the new plant that had killed the rest . Hopefully they won't need different feeds and if they do they won't be getting it . But having three girls in one pot is not much different than running a recirculating dwc system . They all end up being feed the same . The only difference is the roots are not touching each other up . The last two I flowered off lived there entire life in the same tub .

Forgot to say the plants that are now in the flowering room are Hubble bubble, grapefruit kush, and high priority. and I've just discovered that the plants will be two months old on the eleventh of this month . It was the eleventh of November when they first poked thereheads up and out of the cubes . Another two months at least left before I get some bud . And I said I'd run out of greens early January and I'm down to my last splif of my home grown . But I just scored a farmer's daughter of cheese . And it's decent cheese .

It's off a friend . I gave up with the kids and there little bags . Felt like giving them a kicking and nicking there buds . So I really had to stay away from them . Cheeky little gits ( I was once one of them ) he still owes me some for a wedding gift . But he asked if I didn't mind waiting a week or two .

That makes sense then. The cash cropped stuff is my only option up here in my town. There is one local lad who grows but he's clueless from what I've seen of his produce & I guess he's only in it for the money. I wish I could get my mates growing but they're all too para

Well Mr. Green, it's official now & it sounds like you two had a great time. To top it all off you came home to some healthy girls. What a way to start 2015...

I would run your autos under a veg light cycle..some people run them on a 12/12 and say they just take longer..i have not tried this so can't comment really on it..the way I see it is if you have a seperate veg area then an auto in the corner ain't going to take up much room and you get a tidy smoke..kind off a bonus harvest I guess..
If my memory serves me correctly Wildman, I thought autos finish quicker under 12/12 but you get better results under 18/6.

I remember someone in here did a auto grow on different light cycles and found that under 12/12 took longer than on 18/6 and even longer than 24/0..i can't remember who it was that told me...man I need to start remembering who says what lol..my memory is shockingly bad ...

If I can't build a room for the autos is there any reason why I couldn't just put them in the greenhouse in my garden . It's heated and I could set them off at the end of april . I have a private garden .

theres no reason why you couldn't do them outside mate..i might stick one or two out in the garden in the summer...

So there is no reason then I couldn't have them in the greenhouse . I'll wait for the weather to get warmer and in late spring when my garden starts growing and the blue bells are popping up I'll set the autos of in the greenhouse and join the dark side . :cheesygrinsmiley::cheesygrinsmiley:this year I'm going for it with my indoor garden . I don't want to rely on anyone other than myself for my greens . I won some root riot cubes last night on eBay 24 x 36mm cubes for £2.20 plus £2.50 postage . As my eBay account is held at my mum's address I don't mind them being posted to her house .:rofl:

I've grew a few big outdoor plants but they were just bag seeds someone gave me . In the short summer we have they grew from seed to four or five feet tall . But never shown any signs of sex or going into flower . By the time we have 12/12 day's nights here it was to cold and wet and the plants had already suffered and started to rot . I never ever even thought of doing an auto in the greenhouse . Until now

Luke I'm your father join me come to the dark side . let's hope we have a half decent summer for our outside gardens .

yer I did a photo seed outside last year and left it to long and it then got a load off mould and ended up throwing oz after oz away...wasnt a good harvest lol
