definitely full coverage... I thought to do something similar. Will be watching to see how everything turns out.
 
Reason I did this is because most of my plants I have grew the buds are light on the bottom so this is going to be either help or not. Will see tho one way or another.

Change light level 31to 36 inches from tallest plant.
Light, well lux meter says I'm getting 2818.88 maxium Luxs, so I think I'm good on light now.
 
i got baby struggled to pop, she even had a little yellowing on tips of the leaves.
poor thing.

the seeds turned out good. i got good rate of pops verses bad seeds that werent all the way formed.
should be good smoke. will see.
they are growing . i topped the biggest one today. going to do your trick in LST that one plant. slow it down to make them spread out harvests.

Topped and ready for some shaping and LST . I think I will uses a few for LST, some for just growing fast, and others for production. Get my Grove back on.

these are days after pop seeds. seeds spent 3 to 7 days in dirt
 
I put mine in dirt and popped them. All I did was put them in water for 24 hrs and straight to dirt. 5 days later plants. . I lost my popping mogo last years. Never figured it out either.
