Breaking Brix: Buck's DIYs

I'm hoping I have 2 cord caps , so I can plug into timers.
So you'll be running 3 drivers per wall plug, one plug per timer? That explains the diagram you sent me, I was going to ask about that then got busy lol

Also considering running my cords through the board and in to the back of my panel as well. I'd rather add cords I can cut and leave the drivers cords how they are in case I ever need to add to it or tear it apart and rebuild.

I'm running 5 drivers on one cord, that's what the jumpers are for. Didn't know how many terminal on your block. I'm putting the 5 drivers on one timer, the timer strip has a 15 amp circuit breaker in it. I'll use it for protection. I didn't put resetable breakers in box, probably should have. The 2nd cord will have only 1 driver on it to timer strip, I will run fans and stuff off this strip. Each one is fed by a 20 amp breaker.

I bought a 6 and an 8 terminal block because I didn't know exactly what all I'd be running through it. Figure it's better have too many than not enough. Pretty sure I bought the same timer, the Woods? I was going to put resettable breakers in box but Jimmy says I should go with inline and I trust he knows what's up. Plus nothing is going to eat fuses like my vintage Fender Twin Reverb haha

Lights are hung, wiring up to driver now

I gotta level it up also, didn't know how bad till I saw the pick. Got in hurry and left driver unhooked. This has been an aggravating grow. Had major ph problems at start of flower. I think that's the reason I had zero stretch, damn things didn't grow an inch, must have stunted them. I have 4 that's 3.5 to 4 ft tall, they are bag seeds, I took them out , not in pic

Just don't use inline fuses, you have to have fuses on hand if trips. Size your breaker by multiplying load by 125% to get proper size resettable breaker. I use the NEC as reference, so everything is done by code

I'm not that much of a noob . Fuses are cheap, I just read that resettable breakers aren't as reliable down the road after being tripped numerous times so I opted for inline 15a and grabbed a bunch of extras.

Got my wire to wire in inside of the box and terminal spades. I hit up Jimmy to see if I could buy Pots and those Voltmeters and I should be set.

Definitely a good idea to do it by code though.

For the cheap breakers that's probably true. If everything is done right your breaker should never trip. I use industrial grade, for my work I have access to anything electrical . My problem is I take for granted everyone else has same material laying around or can get it, the resettable breakers I use are around $20 a piece versus 20 cent fuse. I'm a noob, this is my 1st grow light build, been using hps for long time

I'm basically working with what I have find at hardware's and Amazon. For the most part I have no idea what I'm looking for until someone tells me or I read somewhere lol I mean noob in the sense that you seen to know what's up with wiring, that could just because of this build but I'm sensing you've got a good grasp on it, I'm basically teaching myself along the way and relying on you and Jimmy to steer me clear of dying or burning my house down ;)

Buck's 1500 Watts Of Vero 29

Let them run for a few hours. After they heat up they will use more wattage.
And only 4 on a HLG 240 won't allow the driver to run in the constant currant region. You need 90-95% load.
