Thanks bob, there's 3 different strains. These cobs have done a great job this round, I'll never go back to hps now. I'm going to cut one today, going to have all cut by next weekend.

Thanks Bob

Very Very nice Buckshot, job well done I'll say. You have more Cobs than I do but man what a difference they make. I'm just flipping to flower on my one and only plant under the Cobs.! Nice job bro!!

Hey Man. I don't mean to be rude, but seriously I do not know how long this freaking internet is going to last. I didn't know where else to ask these questions. I do not even know how to post a question in DIY led? I trust you... so, sorry for hijacking your thread, but I have a couple and do not know how long I have until I melt. Need an opinion. I am coppy's fanleafs system like I original posted and it's scaring the fuck out of me. If scaring the fuck out of someone was possible. Anyways. This is where I am messed up. I do not know which way to go on these drivers, and I would appreciate anyone's opinion. The second question to this one I am giving you is... I wanted to know if fanleaf actually ran those 5k's at 80wattts. Can I go for the two 480's and the 5k's at 60watts max.

If I wanted to run that 54" x 54" in veg only. Of course the 3"s would have some help. Ugh, I hate being an idiot.

8 - 3590's in 3000k on two meanwell HLG-480H-C1400B. Those will be 0-60watts each 139.00
$71 more - parts = $48.32
or
5 - 3590's in 3000k on two meanwell HLG-320H-C1750B. Those will be 0-52.5watts each 69.00
6 - 3590's in 3000k on one meanwell HLG-320H-C1400B. Those will be 0-53watts each 69.00
with
3 - 3590's in 5000k on three meanwell HLG-240H-C2100B. Those will be 0-80Watts each 69.00
or
5 - 3590's in 5000k on one meanwell HLG-320H-C1750B. Those will be 0-64watts each 69.00
4 - 3590's in 5000k on one meanwell HLG-240H-C1400B. Those will be 0-62.5watts each 69.00

I have another hard core question, but that can wait about ten seconds.

I gotta give a heavy spraying again to kill the mites, the only ones I've seen alive today is on the unknown auto. It's not ready but I'm thinking pulling it, and washing it, make bubble hash out of it. After I thought I wiped them out, they came back. They are blackish color, they look scary under microscope. I have some deadly pesticide i just got done spraying the room, the house, and outside. It even kills mice and rats, been banned for 25 years.

I have so many hippies around here... if you could call them that at this age. Know this is an old post, but in this area a person walking by your house infects you. Worse than their flee ridden pit bull puppies. The best way to deal with this is the fact that you have to hit them from all fronts or they will just put more armor on and get pissed at you. Then you will never get rid of them. You need three different spray bottles. You need one filled with your nuclear weapon of choice. AZa whatever. Sns is just lavender anyways. Spend money dummy. Doesn't matter. That's the first attack. Wait a day or two for them to scramble for the trenches, then hit them again. Now this is where you have to do the damage cuz they put their shields. It's lame. But you need one bottle filled with essential oils. One lavender and the other one rosemary. And after those first two attacks.. lavender, rosemary, nuclear, lavender, rosemary, nuclear, and on and on. do not stop when you think they are gone. Used avid florimite in the old school days. Doesn't matter if you put nasty chemicals in your plants. They adjust. You have to hammer them with all natural but different kinds from all directions.

Hey clobber watts, the size of driver doesn't dictate how many watts each cob is getting. It's the drive current, if you multiply the volts of chip times drive current that is max each chip will draw. Cree 3590, 36v multiplied by 1.4a=50 watts per chip. The higher the drive the more watts it will take. You don't have to max out your drivers, just leave a little headroom.

Gorgeous garden buck! Are there anyone selling the boards per wired and built? I've looked into cobs and like that they are affordable bt I'm not sure about the boards.

Where I got mine, he builds complete fixtures also, kind of expensive. They are couple places that have the boards assembled with a connector already on them, just have to mount and plug wire in

Hey Buck! Pretty late to the party and will read over the last few pages to get caught up. I've been seeing you around a lot but just now saw your journal link in your sig, Breakng Brix so had to sub up. Love that show. Have a great day!

:passitleft:

Thanks, had to change name of my journal since I switched over to docs kit. I'm hoping my girls start taking off. Other grow is about ready for harvest.

That would explain how I missed the cleverly named journal for over 50 pages. You are gonna love the kit and your plants will too!

Rock on!
