Br4iNl3sS 1st Grow Journal - Indoor - Grow Tent - Coco Coir - Crown Royal - MH300

As long as you're in soil, water for soil. When you make the switch to coco, I won't be much help beyond training for flower. I only grow in soil and no bottled nutrients.

i look foward to your help, 1 it will mean we get closer to harvest :P and 2 i only "know" topping and LST, not even shure when its optimal and all that fun stuff.. but that why im here and you are here Masonman xD :high-five:

DAY 7: Still no watering, cup is heavy, mom's spaghetti :biglaugh: , i'm gonna take 2 photo from now on :P just to see how much she grow in height :)

Thanks... i cant wait to get my full set-up, i ordered so many things last week... now im waiting for it to get here, 30" x 30" grow tent will be a big plus for controlling the environment. I dun fucked up though with the timer i bought, i bought 2 of them and both are not what i wanted  1 dosent give me the choice over 24h it give me the option to power up for 2-4-6 or 8 hours... the second one i bought is not grounded... and i want 1 that is grounded for the LED. i also bough a small fish tank pump to try to automate my little tent.

DAY 9: The little lady keep growing leafs... VERY SLOW and steady, i wonder if i didint made a mistake by planting her too soon or not deep enough ... i "played" with the top layer of the soil very gently and she moved A LOT... Also i have a hard time keeping the temperature stable, around 75 in the morning before the LED goes on and around 82 during day with the LED on... Let me know what you think about those 2 inquiries !?

The seed only needed to be about 1/4 inch below the soil. Your temps are fine, no problem there. Starting from seed is slow. Just have to be patient.

Don't mess with the soil around the plant. You could damage the tap root.

I messed with the dirt around the border of the cup making it loose so i could bring it back closer to the plant very gently and she moved a lot... like i felt it very "soft"... like the loosest soil ever... I think its gonna be fine not optimal but who is at their first grow :P i dont mind if it takes a little more time... ill just make her a big ass tree before flower :P

DAY 10 1/2: Just a quick update to say i received my tent this morning and while removing the previous set-up i dropped a 2"x3" from 48" right in the face of my bb grill :yikes: :whoa: and she fell on the floor... almost 2 inches of the soil that was in the cup ended on the floor... i think it time to water her soon

Still day 10: I started noticing the second set of leaf is starting to separate from the first set :) i guess its a good sign, especially after the hit in the face she got this morning... also i think she does better when she get a bigger temp range from day to night... i might be crazy, might by luck... but i didint water her or give nutrient only thing that changed is temperature and humidity about 5% max... ill take note for future grow and for the future of that bb grill :)

Right on man I hope your having fun. Looks like you spent a few sleepless nights at the keyboard getting sorted out before you started. First timer and I know that feeling LOL

People on here a very helpful and friendly which makes it fun

Keep up the good work bro

DAY 11: Finally i think it was time to water her :P the leaf going down a little bit is a sign right !? I did it anyway :P Look like the hit in the face she got yesterday didint affect her too much :) she even have a new set of leafs that popped up during the night or yesterday evening. So far so good... i think !?!

Hi there! Subbed into your first grow. Your little one looks great!! Sorry she was hit on the head - they are tough things! Yes, you can put in a little more soil to hold up the stem. No need to add any more water to it unless it's time for her regular water. Overwatering will kill her faster than a hit on the head
