Bozzo's Sun & Soil Grow - Red Devil with Cogo's Formula

Morning bozzo happy weed day to ya. Rolling fence? Fill me in on burning sulfur.

from what I have heard ,burning sulfur is only way to get rid of mold spores. made mine for 40 dollars. but you can buy one for 100 dollars. seems to have worked in the greenhouse. none yet anyways. here's the darkroom and some friends that took up in the grapes

grow has to be not seen from neighbors, so fence was needed on that side. my septic field is on that side , so no fence poles. So I made a above ground fence.

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking I may need this for the fall when the humidity goes way up and doesn't get warm. I plan on putting a heater in the greenhouse but I don't want bud rot again.

Fence idea is pretty cool. don't the neighbors say anything if they see the fence moving?

I think Bozzo yells Squirrel and when they look away he moves it then:)

oh they know. It's just to follow the state law. don't want to use it during budding, but should be ok on these young plants. What leaves they have now will be tossed anyway.

see the fence? it is moveable with scaffolding, I just roll it away when its mowing time

I really enjoy seeing the individual creativity of improvisation... I consider it a form of "Industrial Folk Art"!

I'm sure I'm biased as one who grew up making things from scratch, using what ever I had or could scrounge. I did feed my gals their first Cogo's on Sunday, but have a question.

Do you use Cogo's as an additive to your normal watering?

If I am mistaken please let me know... From what I'm reading I am to use Cogo's each time I water.

If each plant/pot requires two gallons of water I mix my two parts following the instructions of 1.5 tsp of Part A X 2 and 1.5 tsp of Part B X 2, mix as directed and apply to each plant?

I would repeat this for each plant/pot...

My only problem is properly determining how much water I use per plant as I've been watering directly from the garden hose and I grossly underestimated how much water on Sunday... My gals were very thirsty and after I applied water/Cogo's I grabbed the garden hose...

I did feed the plant, but still had to water the pot... Am I correct that I need to add Cogo's to the normal amount of water so I no longer use the garden hose?

Or, stated differently, my watering, every watering should be with a perfect ratio of water and Cogo's...

I see the need to do some "Industrial Folk Art" creativity to expedite my feeding/watering if I'm correct!

Happy Tuesday all... Hope you enjoy a productive and comfortable day! :yummy:

We rent a condo... the parks around us charge around $500 a month to park a 5 th wheel and I only pay $1000 a month for ocean front condo . Were a little farther north , but rent cheaper. But I don't like hot any better than cold. We go for 3 months. Jan Feb. and March.

This is shaping up to be a long winter. Going to take the 5th wheel down around Oct. 15 till April 15th, this winter, usually get there just before Christmas till same date in April. Oldest boy was getting married in Oct. Not know though, but wife still insists on going in Oct. Works for me , as I`m coming back home about Nov. 1 till after muzzle loading. Will get back to Florida just before Christmas. The campground we stay at charges $600 a month. We will be on the water, on a bay on the intercoastal waterway. Off the water is cheaper. Wife has mom, dad, and sister living down there.
I don`t like the hot any better than the cold, that`s why I no longer live in Florida. Too hot for too long. Got my fill of it by working on the beach for 3 years. Now live in God`s country. Lotsa deer hunting ahead this year. Come on up, it`s always a great time. No wife this year. Did you see the picture of the wolf trapping sign I posted awhile ago ? Finally the DNR is going to do something about the wolves.

The wife said she got dive bombed when she was out there ,so I had to see why. they look hungry.

They look like baby Robins bozzo... Always great having nesting birds about... The hunt close to keep them nestlings fed, keeping insects down. I have a morning ritual of putting out goobers for the Blue Jays and Planters peanuts for the smaller birds. Plus we have a bird bath, so they stay around all day, hunting bugs...

We don't have Robins, but Mocking birds which use the spots under their wings to cause bugs to move... They walk a few feet, spread their wings, close them and move on until they cause movement, then attack!

I love working with nature :green_heart: :peace:

intercostal.......east cost right? have a cousin in Daytona beach. I'm not to keen on Florida. .to many people.

I got no instructions except what's on bottles. But I use almost every watering. But it has been so hot, that I have been adding more water from hose. You will see a good growth soon I'm sure. The pots will dry out in a day without water ,it is hot hot hot

Yep, it has been hot... Sunday I spent over an hour inside the greenhouse with the temps at 100+ with the fan blowing. My T-shirt was soaked and I was never so happy to have a swimming pool!

I'm watering every 3 days and soaking the pots until water fills the saucers... 3 to 4 gallons each, times ten!

My gals are getting so big I may need to remove one, probably two plants as they are growing together side to side plus I'm moving them away from the walls so they don't touch the plastic or metal... I can still get inside, but not with out brushing the lower branches... They are nearly too large to get out the door!

Guess I'd rather have too much success than too little, but like the movie Jaws, "I'm gonna need a bigger boat"! :morenutes:

I am a little different in my watering . I give a little every day. I never water that much at one time. water a little and next day a little more. I don't soak them . That's just me. I probably give them about a quart a day, just a guess. why not have a few house plants instead of culling them?

well snowbird I may see you down south this coming winter. Now the wife wants us to move down to the coast because her Mother isnt doing well and she wants to help take care of her. I really dont want to live down there again but I have to say I love my wife and her parents. so I will be about 40miles north of I10 this winter:)
tentatively:)

oh yea. you will love the Bible belt

Well, our typical humidity is low, today it's 44% which is high for us but we are arid. The only green are oak trees and pepper trees and prickly pear cactus, so evaporation is high as our temperatures average high 80's to low 100's daily.

I spend about an hour each week filling the swimming pool just to keep it at the proper level, some loss is to critters, but most due to evaporation...

I'm considering options to culling, but moving inside requires equipment I can't afford... Adoption is a possibility if someone wants to risk moving them and is willing to pay for or guarantee return of my pot but I don't know anyone who could adopt... I could contact my Coop as I'd prefer someone benefit from invested time/effort.

Outside the greenhouse is a last resort due to security issues. While I have one neighbor, we are in a box canyon and besides the home owners association gardeners, there are homes around the canyon ridge plus we occasionally get kids hiking around us, which was the reason for the commercial greenhouse kit...

I don't have anyplace I could grow outside that can't be seen by others, plus my lone neighbor is being a real ass, telling anyone/everyone about my grow, so I'm already concerned about the possibility of an attempted rip-off.

Visual conformation from afar would increase the risk issues... Right now, I have the neighbor by the "short hairs" if someone he's told tries anything as an "accessory" and while I'm well trained and equipped I sure don't want the additional notoriety/exposure of reporting a burglary of my grow...

I placed my greenhouse about 20 feet from our guest room, so as I get closer to harvest I'll sleep in the guest room with the window open. The door is lockable but the locking pieces are plastic...
:thanks: :yummy:
