Thanks Sinsemillas! :thumb:

We aren't seeing any Praying Mantis yet, but I'll be relocating any I find inside as I found two more worms this morning on the same plant. I'll take her to the patio table and do a good inspection, but the pitcher plant got fed! I found a dead moth inside a few days ago...

Guess it laid eggs before dying I took some good pictures of the damage which is minor as two works were no larger than a 1/2 inch!

hey AugrowR put a little cogos on them and watch them take off

I will bozzo420... I have a funny little story about our friend Cogo...

He's on Fakebook and yesterday after he accepted my friend request I posted a brief comment about how I learned about Cogo's and why I chose to purchase the original formula... Cogo's gave it a like... The last evening he send a private message asking about Hydro or Soil, Greenhouse or lights...

So I was honest and told him I was growing in Miracle Grow Moisture Control inside my greenhouse.

He asked, "doesn't Miracle grow have a slow release fertilizer"? I answered yes, but it's very general and just as we still add tomato fertilizer for flowering and fruits to our MGMC soil, so I must supplement for the flowering stage...

He types all the basics, of proper pot size, proper drainage, and neutral soil as a medium... I sent a link to my pictures, but he doesn't look as my pots are at the minimum end of the 1- to 20 gallons he said is mandatory... So, he asks "then why do you need my fertilizer"?

I shared with Mr. Cogo I'm an experienced grower, but this is my first medical Marijuana grow, that I may choose to wait on using Cogo's on this grow, but I'll still want the fertilizer for next seasons grow, that this was a late start and I had to rush, taking those measures required to establish this grow balancing budget with availability, but will have enough time before next season to plan expenses to get neutral soil, etc...

I had to talk him into sending the fertilizer I'd already paid for... Two well medicated oldsters, typing on FB messenger and neither making any sense... It was like an interview to see if I was worthy :adore::adore::adore:

I do plan on using Cogo's and I'll moderate my feeding mix as necessary starting weak and slowly increasing until I see negative results.

Miracle grow shows it fertilizer balance is 0.21 - 0.07 - 0.14 and from reading my cannabis at flowering needs 5-5-3 and one not need a degree in chemistry to see Miracle Grow is slightly more fertile than sterile soil at less than 1-1-1 plus it only feeds for 6 months and my grow is starting week 8 or 2 months.

I have no doubts Mr. Cogo is gun shy after selling to those who haven't as much farming experience as starting an avocado seed who blame him for their lack of experience and errors, plus as it was 8 pm here, we were both very medicated, so while a tad frustrating, it was funny... My order ships Monday! :morenutes:

I think I'll contact him again this morning and share what I couldn't pull together last night due to the fog of :bigtoke:

I have harvested 3 of the early girls. All 3 had some bud rot. one was ready ,but the other 2 were only in the 6th week. Still some good looking buds. It was harvest or lose it to the rot.

sorry to hear that there is more bud rot. DAM MOLD Do you have really high humidity right now? I worry about it on the little auto in the greenhouse. Went out this morning and open the doors and went back out a few hours later and the end door blow shut. It must have been a 100 in there with very high humidity. Fan was on but going no where. Girls still looked really nice and juicy

Shit I know how you feel.

Take what you can get ! :)

PS Seems like the stagnate air in the flower chamber + high humidity increased mold chances, in both our cases it occur. I guess no real surprise, I may possibly consider hooking up a fan in there or something, would rather blow some dust on the plant than have rot occur..

Peace mate

Good weed and a fine Skunkday Snowbird:)287
BUD ROT SUCKS!! what you did get looks nice tho:)
I have been reading about washing the harvest and it may help you get more out of the stash you clipped.
let me know if your interested:)

Sorry about your loss bozzo420 as you've been very dedicated to your grow. Is the "rot" isolated to your greenhouse or your other outside babies too?

Before I added 3 inches of shredded rubber inside my greenhouse I had so much humidity it was running down the inside. Logistically I'm not sure how one would grow in soil and still use a medium like the rubber, but since I added the rubber my humidity issues are gone.

I haven't calked the greenhouse base yet and my lawn sprinklers find every opening... But I had green algae growing on the wet soil it was so damp... The rubber is water proof unlike bark, plus being brown in color, it absorbs more heat driving out moisture.

We usually have very low to moderate humidity here, but do have a summer monsoonal flow from Mexico and currently have hurricane Erick west of Baja pumping in Florida like humidity... Right now at 9 am we have 94% humidity with fog from our on shore flow burning off, but no inside wetness...

The best thing about the rubber is it'll out last us all and can be reused if it must be moved. Just sharing my early morning thoughts on my experience... I know our geographic zones are vastly different, but if a simple fix works here it may be just the ticket inside your greenhouse...

Heck, come to think of it, you've been using a fan and I haven't added one yet! :hmmmm:

the bud rot was not in the greenhouse. all on the early girls outdoors. It had been raining the last week. That's the way it goes. The first one was right at 8 weeks, so it was ready. It is not a loss.....It is a gain....There is one new early girl now. The big potted Red Devil is now in the darkroom every night. along with the OG 18 and the other Red devil........The one with the band aid is the only survivor. Its doing great ,band aid and all. Plus I have 2 replacement plants ready for late season.

Rain?

What's that? :hmmmm:

It's always feast or famine here and this winter it was famine again... Our rain comes in waves. We are in perpetual drought in SoCal until we get El Nino or La Nina, then we get so much it ends the "official drought" even if it's been a 10 year drought... But then that's why you have all them green trees and we have brown brush covered hills, except during fire season!

We have three seasons... Fire, Earthquake, and Drought, except when it floods...

Glad it wasn't worse and ya know "why" bozzo420. I'm already envious you'll be enjoying the fruits of your labor as mine begin to flower, but next year, I'll be on the same page with some "early girls" too because of your blog!

Today I'm playing MacGyver my shade screen "kit" which it ain't...

The shade screen isn't finished or cut to the correct size... No biggie, but the concept is the shade cloth goes inside the greenhouse and is attached using plastic clips which are inserted into a bolt channel, then turned 1/4 turn to lock in the channel and capturing the shade screen, but there's a BIG problem...

The greenhouse has 4 panels across the length, each locked in by a support which has the prerequisite Bolt Channels. The three supports are in the middle, but there is no Bolt Channels at the ends of the greenhouse...

So, I need to find some means of holding up both ends. The greenhouse is not magnetic... I checked. So that leave Velcro with glue on both halves or sewing... I can do this and already have the Velcro...

I've never learned to use a sewing machine and while I learn quickly plus have a extremely logical mind, my wife doesn't, so she cannot communicate logically and concisely... It's so bad if she tried to teach you how to eat, already being an accomplished, well trained consumer...

You'd starve!

The biggest problem is this "Kit" came with a quantity of 10 twist clips and there are three supports, thus 6 attachment points per side, so the "Kit" is short two clips and nothing in the "Kit" to attach the ends... Plus, what does one do about the roof vent/window which has one Bolt Channel?

The "Kit" should have a minimum 14 twist clips.

This "Kit" as designed and sold, with out home modification, would provide shade to the center two panels only and leave the two ends open to 100% sun. :thedoubletake:

The other issue I see is attempting to use one single piece of shade cloth will block the roof vent window.

If I cut a three sided flap and attach it to the bottom of the window vent there will not be enough slack to open the window. I can cut a square, but there is one bolt channel along the bottom, not enough twist clips and the remaining three sides require modifications, probably Velcro again...

Then there are the unfinished cuts in the woven shade screen... I'm thinking of using a propane torch to melt the strands as you might with para-cord or poly rope ends, along the lengths cut, including the window vent to stop unraveling...

Now to find my torch attachment which I haven't seen/needed since we moved here, and a trip to the home center for a couple bottles of propane...

If I didn't know better I might "assume" this company catered to medical Marijuana patients and has many on staff as this "accessory" is their design and creation and I'm far better qualified to design a working prototype for each model of Hobby greenhouses they sell...

Too bad I'm busted as I'm seeing a business opportunity. Plenty of inexpensive labor available and square footage, just no capitol start up funds.

The story of my life... "A day late or a dollar short." :rolleyes3
