Boomer444's Indoor and Outdoor Experiments

Re: Hozona's Indoor and Outdoor Experiments

Mad Scientist Update #2
Well I have the Aerobloomer all fabricated and would love any comments It will fit in my tent with room to 'speriment with some other things at the same time. I added a scog to the top (my little modification) A little different from the Stinkbud plan and MUCH SMALLER:cheesygrinsmiley:

Re: Hozona's Indoor and Outdoor Experiments

holy crap! thats awesome i would do a hydro run if i had that damn fine build! how much did it cost to build?
I will have to add it up and figure out what it all costs. The most expensive was the fence post and caps $36, 396gph pump $27, an 18gal Rubber Maid Roughneck container $7?, PVC and Ts, 90degree bends, riser, coupler, end caps, aerojets, glue, etc so about $85 total I think:tokin:

Re: Hozona's Indoor and Outdoor Experiments

thats not bad at all have you seen the price of them on hydro sites!? holy crap
Any where from HOLY CRAP! to YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING! are the prices I've seen. A lot easier to make than most people realize, so that's what I did.
I drill the holes for the sprayers 1 size smaller than the 11/64 and then screw them in with a nut driver. I love how easy PVC is to work with! :cheesygrinsmiley::tokin:

Re: Hozona's Indoor and Outdoor Experiments

yup and i believe theres some $ in it for you if you build them for ppl custom spec fit oh yeah buddy
I could do that! The PVC part is very customizable. The fencing would be cheaper if I had more than one to build. I took pictures of my entire bloom, veg/clone, workbench today and will post it in a few more minutes:cheesygrinsmiley::tokin:

Re: Hozona's Indoor and Outdoor Experiments

As promised looking in from my garage

The Aerovegger with the plants transplanted from the 4" net into the 3" I had originally planned on. Just ordered heavier 3" pots (with a lip) The cheap ones from my local hydro store suck.

Next my work-bench with my BPN and testing instruments

And finally the tent with new Aerobloomer in place. I don't think it could have been an inch bigger...measure three times, cut once!

Woohoo! I am thinking this will work well for me.:cheesygrinsmiley:

Re: Hozona's Indoor and Outdoor Experiments

room for a couple coco plants on top of the res, or 2 net pots and a tiny 1/4 tee feed line off the main pvc supply to make it a combo dwc/aero sys
See? I told you we thought alike. Maybe what, 2 2L on top of the reservoir in soil-less medium, and another aerovegger like my other one in the other area, I have the containers already, so then it would be simple to go from veg into bloom in the same container switching out nutes as you go...kinda what I had in mind, but I think the trick will be timing everything to get it all going at once. After my last bloomer gets harvested I will tranfer my veggers into the tent for some MH and the two in cups will go into larger planters outside. I may reveg her after I harvest her also...she's been a fun experiment and survived getting moved around and the LST and the scog. :cheesygrinsmiley::tokin:

Re: Hozona's Indoor and Outdoor Experiments

I'll put a parts list together asap for you...:cheesygrinsmiley:
PARTS LIST
Material Qty
PVC length to be determined depending on size of your design
90 degree elbows 7 or more depending on size of your design
T fittings 13 or more depending on size of your design
4X4 vinyl posts and 4 end caps 4 (could use round with caps also I think)
Corner fittings 4 90X90X90 degree
18 gallon Rubbermaid Roughneck bin and lid 1
396 gph submerible pump 1
1/2" sprinkler riser 1
1/2" coupler 1
Glue for PVC 1
Aerojets 6 or more depending on size of your design
Net pots (3") or (2") 8 or more depending on size of your design
End caps for PVC 6
Nylon cord for scog 1
Some of the fittings need to increase in number as the unit increases in size
Also as you experiment you may want to resize the scog.
I have another design stirring around in my mad scientist mind. :cheesygrinsmiley::tokin:

Re: Hozona's Indoor and Outdoor Experiments

i gotta tell ya a second tent is inevitable i thought i was in like flint till i realized i really liked the control and light containment of my flower tent, now i have 3 lol 1 veg 2 flower, but i am only using 2 right now the shack i live in is really to small 2 run all three, i have a tiny closet i use for veg , one of my flower tents is 2 foot taller than the other so i scrog and lst etc in one and can grow bigger plants in my tall one its about 6'10" -7 ft the other is 5ft even both are 4x2.5 the other dimensions, it works well the way i have it, come summer im gonna have to change some things

Adaptability is what I am about right now also..and yes maybe a larger bloom tent eventually but I think an ac unit for the space will need to be in there by next summer..maybe I can trade a built to order Hozonaero for what I need...I like trading a lot. I could ship them unassembled with instructional DVD:cheesygrinsmiley::tokin:
