Thanks Wiz! I have a big lot...at least 1/4 acre maybe 1/3 I am not positive. My W wall and NE corners have served me well in the past...I am hoping the North wall will be even better (more sun all day)I just had to give reps for your growing outdoors. Loving the land mass

A lot of veggies and mellons are self-pollenating, exactly like hermies do. A flower ovary consists of several ovules. The ovule has an egg cell attached to a pistil (white hairs on cannabis) . When pollination occurs several pollen grains from the stamen are released. Only one pollen grain enters the ovule via the pistil and fertilizes the egg. After pollination ovary is converted to fruit and ovules are converted to seeds.can you cross fruit plants with mj? I was wondering if there maybe a way to take the sweetness of fruits and cross it with a mj plant and make seeds? That would be interesting. Like are there male plants for veggies?
Don't believe it can happen or most everything I grow would taste like Juniper...Sounds interesting. I will have to try and locate pollen on fruit plants. I just don't want the flavoring in my harvest but with in the strain.

As far as crossing it would be like mating a dog to a monkey...not likely a good outcome.
To add flavor I have heard that rather than just molasses adding natural flavor extracts to your final waterings...I haven't tried it, but I bet someone in this forum has
that my brother is a fantasic idea!!!!Thanks...it's Tuesday the 23rd. Maybe I will do a hobbies journal in the off topic forums! !
i did it with a bottle of lemon extract and yes it works i made some super lemon trash lol it was not strong but i believe it was from the fact that i did it to an outdoor plant the ground was pretty damp so not much uptake and it was on only a half hour or so, im betting in a pot with a very dry plant overnight and a high quality extract i bet it would be overwhelmingA lot of veggies and mellons are self-pollenating, exactly like hermies do. selective breeding , the cannabis plant has vast terpene system it can smell like almost anything when breed to encourage a traitOh ok. This is something I been wondering about for a while now. I need to look into how breeding banks does this.

I can't remember where I read it but someone has a chef friend that suggests pollinating your buds with lavender. No seeds but the but plant somehow incorporates the lavender to its smell and taste. I have not tried this... yet.
I do think that hops are the only plant that will cross with cannabis.
I think Big Irish Dude may have he is into home brewing.Since I'm incapable of any original thought, so it seems, let me skip over my obvious question and just ask if anybody here has or knows anyone who has made bud beer?
