This fine gentleman has passed on but his legacy still shines brightly.

Bag of Oranges or Boo from Useful Seeds.

Soaked seeds overnight on Saturday July 6 and tails the next morning so into the oasis.

Monday the 9th we could see action and by Wednesday the 11th everyone was up.

Bottled water to this point.


Gas lantern lighting method for vegging.

12 on , 5.5 off , 1 on , 5.5 off.

The following day Thursday I have 4 tap roots through the cube so into the net pots at .8 ec.

Then the following day the remaining have root through.

This was taken on the 22 , eight days later.

And then again 7 days on the 29th.

On this eve I mainline these 4 to the 3rd node

Last Friday August 2nd , ec is up to 1.1-1.2 now as they were a bit light looking.

Well everything was going good but with a bit more space available a move was in store.
Had a bit of an underlying issue that needed resolve. So with that nipped in the but I believe things will move on a bit quicker.
Took a couple leaves off that were on the original branching.
Ph is dropping a bit , like .4 or .5 . That too should stabilize once my roots are back to 100. Maybe 75-80 now.

Just curious what do you mean roots are 75-80 ?
And since I'm being nosey what ppms are you running?

In the smaller buckets I noticed some browning on my roots.

I run live so I was assuming I had a bit too much bacteria introduced.

But now think I instead had some slime and bad bacteria.

So I rinsed them in the old waters before introducing to fresh waters , in different system as you can see.

So the past 3 days things have slowly gotten better.

I can see my roots are whiter and I would think things will start picking up , hence the roots 75-80 @Bill284

My ec is very close to 1.2.

That ec should be dam close to stability, my ph is still dropping a bit so I know not everything is fixed yet, but in the next 24hrs I suspect it will stop moving and I will be back on track.

The roots are again better today, you can see under pot were they look stained.

I inoculated my pots again .

Comparing photos from this morning and then this evening I can see there are perkier and growing again.

Great looking journal and rdwc set up.

These fine ladies have grown just enough to carefully start to tie them and direct them out.

I will mainline these to 8 trying not to break any of the branches.

Ph is still dropping a bit , .4 over 12 hours, ec 1.2.

Finally I think I have roots nipped in the but.
Ph this morning is solid and never moved.
5.8 , ec 1.6
Might take them to 8 this evening , just waiting for the smaller 3 to be growing well.
