Hard to tell for sure, but I think the DDA could be ready to come down as planned. I do see some of the clears Shed mentioned on the dosido, but she’s definitely in the harvest window. This is the time I like to try a tester bud and see how they feel, a lil Scooby snack.

You just snip a little/medium bud off and let it dry. Some place it in a warm spot to help it dry faster. I think Shed does it in foil over the toaster or something? It will be more harsh to smoke and won’t taste as good, but it gives you the chance to see if you like the high, or if you want it to go longer.

I believe a lot of people use a toaster oven to quick dry. I don’t have a toaster oven so I’ll just let it sit on the counter for a couple hours until it’s dry-ish and then give it a shot.
 
I make a tin foil canoe and put it over the toaster slot. Done in a less than a minute for a small bud.

Random stoner post. We have a pair of Mockingbirds nesting somewhere close to the house and the male has been singing and singing for a couple days now. It’s all kinds of bird songs and he’s really loud! It’s pretty cute. :laughtwo:
 
We don't have any nesting nearby, but we do have them around. They sure do love to run through their repertoire non-stop!

Happy Monday all! :ciao: Here's a little update for today. First, I did not take DDA #4 down this weekend as we've been fostering a rescue dog since Thursday and that has taken up a lot of my time. She goes back to her original foster home today so either tonight or tomorrow DDA will get the choppity chop! The smoke test on @Barney's Farm Dosidos showed that she's not quite ready so she continues to take space in the tent. I'm feeling bitter about her size and honestly will be glad when she's gone - which will hopefully be soon.

She was a strong starter and has been a breeze to grow. I would definitely buy from them again. All three of these plants are 9.5 weeks old.

:goodjob: Going through the journal from start to finish just reminded me how fast an auto grow goes. The PL is gorgeous. I think I'm gonna have to try and grow one of these DDA's myself for the experience.

Purple Lemonade is a stunner, and the Dosidos would be a perfectly reasonable auto in my garden - which is why I don't grow autos any more. :laugh:

I certainly hope that's what it means! Don't try to scare me out of growing autos....you know I love them, just not the runts. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Your DDa looks gorgeous!! A mighty fine looking lady! I've always liked to look at DDa ladies, and yours is no exception. I'm guessing she'll be a fine smoke in her day! Great job! Happy Smokin'
