Day 68 (Flip + 7)

After a bit of slowdown, they are now starting their stretch. I dropped the light to 24” above the scrog/30 above grow surface, maintaining mid-70s shade temps with 68 degree water. I haven’t re-nuted but it is time to move to full blown flower nutes today or tomorrow since they have recovered from their transition. I will use AN pH Perfect, micro/bloom/grow 2-1-3 ratio for the next 4 weeks & then lean out the grow to a 2-0-4 for the last push. Or that is the plan anyway.

Lots of bud sites although they are a slow fuse to flower so far. That's OK. I am not in a rush.

Looks good Ian. If you could find a way to lower your light without a forest fire I think you would really see a benefit. Nothing wrong with what you have though. Cheers!

I took your suggestion & dropped it today to 20" above the scrog 26" above surface. No signs of stress & no temp increase. Any lower & I would inhibit the outer bud sites. After fighting with temps all through veg, it is finally dialed in I guess.

And that pic was this morning. They grew more today. I just did a tuck & tie & it is getting harder since they are so bushy.

I'm gonna have the same problem regarding the footprint and actual plant size. I'm probably gonna double the branches back toward the main body of the plant in the stretch.

It's too bad that the parts of the plant that go outside the footprint are usually the most important part.

We'll figure it out. By the way, They look great man
