this is a DIY sustsainable aquaponics grow, using recycle reduce and reuse prinicples as guidlines.
Start Date Aug 8th 2023, harvest estimated date October 22-31 2023.
Strain Blue Whale autoflower feminized origin unknown seeds a gift from a friendly.
indoor aquaponics (barrel-ponics ) recycled 55 gal food grade barrel, chop and flip for fish tank water supply.
secondary grow bed is a another 55 gallon drum cut in half on the horizontal.
Tent @VIVOSUN 3x3x72
Lights @VIVOSUN VS1500 18X6 hours.
water pumps 3X 24w sumbersible water fountain pumps.
Fish stock, Comet Goldfish 5 at 3-4 inches long.
Food Omega One goldfish pellets 2 times daily.
Additional organic P&K nutrient boost using sea kelp and liquid fish ferts by Seafarm of B.C. Canada.
Dual root zone> DIY mesh pot 1.5 lt ice cream container with mesh bottom repurposed soil, and pillow polyfiller for dirt barrier.
carrots, cabbage spinach beets and romaine lettuce used for companion plants and establish bio filter.

the blue whale 1 is about 7- 10 days from havest, on October 8th/23 I started a second plant in my areogarden, today i transfered the seeding into a dual root zone pot. recycling polyster pillow fill, topped with cococoir, and then planted mix with perilite. ive placed it in the media bed below the first plant to protect it from lights until it extablishes its self. this alows it to begin the 18/6 light cycle and not will need to be transplanted again.
