Yeah it was disappointing because I could have kept some for myself lol. He also claimed to have been a huge grower in BC back in the day. I’ll post a pic of my neighbour blackberry og clones he got from me. One of em is a beast, buddy who failed said it was bad genetics, lol.

Have a buddy who’s working at a medical grow op so my next grow is going to be from clones rather than seeds. Hopefully much more of a turnover rate this way.

Definitely. Using clones is the way to go. I wish I had that option.

I had an issue with phosphorus deficiency so many of em have got plucked along the way. Actually was attempting to follow nebulas defoliation technique but ended up taking more leaves due to them looking very poor along the way. Majority removed after week 3 for big ones, the was far too shady and was used to take cutting from. Honestly didn’t think I’d get much out of this plant. Hoping for 3+ounces realistically, dried. We shall see!

Wow well at least you got rid of them when you saw signs of phosphorus and cut them. But the plants looks great! Hope you get the yield your looking for. I just cut down 4 white widow plants, praying 16+ oz.

That would be a stellar grow, would love to see pics.

But yeah I raised my levels of nutrient and corrected it. Used to small plants and training autos to be bonsai trees lol.

Here’s my plant early flower, late flower, trimmed. They should be done drying out between tomorrow and Sunday. I grow in hydro RDWC.

Also how do you like your mars light so many people use them I’ve noticed. Just curious. I used (2) 1200watt viparspectras for this grow. I’m pretty happy though I’m almost done building my quantum board set up. (6) qb96Elites with (3) HLG-320H-54A drivers. So excited to see how my gelato seedlings thrive under it.

Lol! I'm with you on being excited about the next grow. I'm only 2.5 wks into this one and I'm planning on what seeds to buy for my next one! All I need now is a couple thousand $$ worth of lights for the 20-30 strains I want! LOL

Haha I hear you there I planted seeds 2 weeks ago in a seedling tent. So as soon as I’m done drying I’m going to clean my tent top to bottom and clean my hydro system. Then in come the gelato seedlings.

Its kind of a rush, isn't it? The anticipation, nervousness, dread that they won't germ or sprout. Then worrying over them, are they runts, be too tall, will I over water , PM, gnat's, the soil, the water on, type of water, did I pick the right soil, light height, are they ready, not wanting to cut them down but also wanting to cut them down, how long do I cure, fuk it I don't have the patience to cure fully...etc. LoL did I miss anything?
Looking forward to seeing that gelato grow.

Those look amazing, probably gonna be a really nice harvest! I’ve never grown dwc before but am super interested in it. Before I do that I need a stronger light than my mars 96 reflector. What kind of lights you running?

Absolutely! I always have to remind myself to be patient and let them get potent. Excited about going from clones next round. Have to get a list from my guy who works at a medical grow facility, said he’s got quite a few. Still love looking at seeds and strains I want to store away for future grows haha. Some light talk then. I'm using 3 COB light. Says 600w, but pulls around 210 at the wall. It's a nice light for the money. Well made. It's damn near silent, and the hottest part of the light is 92° according to my laser thermometer. It has good reviews, and more natural color light. I don't care for the purple color, I know it works, I just don't like it.
I plan on getting another one soon, I'll need it for flowering..but I'm thinking maybe get something different. Same price range. Like the Mars SP or TS line, or a QB . I've been looking at them from China, and have a couple co.'s I'm talking with that quoted me descent pricing. They are "kits" but they said they'd fully assemble them for me, plug and play! Still get the good kit price without having to be an electrician, lol. I'm not paying the extra for the HLG name, if I can get them assembled. And im well aware it's easier to deal with a local co.. But I can damn near get two lights for the price of the HLG , worth the risk for me.
If MH and HPS didn't suck so much juice I'd run them. They are really inexpensive online.

Thinking about mars for sure or looking into quantum boards with the Samsung led diodes. I hear great things about cob lights.

Yeah I hear ya, spent way too much money last year starting a business and buying a house, had to keep my lights at the beginner level price lol. Still overpaid compared to the 1000w leds I could have got for the price of mine.
