Thanks for the idea with the clear plastic cups. About your Cool Tube...do you have the big reflector or that really small one? I have four of the large reflectors and I think the design is outstanding for cooling since the reflector isn't in contact with the warm air. The hood stays just a degree or two above ambient. As you know, I'm into my first indoor grow so I don't know how warm other sealed aircooled lights are, but since the entire hood has heated air all through it, that type must leak more heat into the room than Cool Tubes.
Also...I have a hand held Lux meter and the area that receives the most light (~20% more) is below the outer edges of the hood rather than directly below the center. I think the large reflectors are better for larger areas like 6'X6' as they don't concentrate the light like some of the other air cooled lights I've seen. I may get ambitious and make some add-on reflectors for the sides so the light isn't being wasted in the middle of my budding room where I have the walkway. If I didn't have to get to the back of the room I'd stick a couple more plants in the middle.

Right on Bunker! Yea the cooltubes enable the plants to get within 5 inches of it if you have good exhaust flow. I love it! I do have the small "broadcast" reflector on for when I want to cast a broad light beam. If Im flowering one or 3 plants I use a larger reflector (actuall a sheet of polished aluminum so I can narrow the beam to the plant coverage area. and not waste much light.

Your grow looks perfect. I'm a HUGE fan of raised bed> next week I will transform a full bedroom into a flower chamber to run out the millions of autos I have popping ground.

A slight warning on the cooltubes, get quality ones. I bought an Ipower from amazon and my light meter dictates it doesn't put out much more that a hortilux 400watt. HPS. Guess they can brand it as they want.

also CLEAR CUP WARNING! You don't want light to get to your roots. Place clear cup inside colored cup to protect them.

Oh and I gots my chips cashed in! Now its time to mellow slow!

My grow is far from perfect, but it seems to be working! I had to leave the girls in veg for a couple weeks longer than I would have liked because the bud room wasn't finished and I got the scrog nets set up about a week too late so I missed half of The Stretch and the Elephant(?) Bud had a bad Magnesium deficiency and all of them were a little starved for nitrogen so my yield will suffer a little. We learn from our mistakes though, huh?

Well got to sample some of Lucy. Yea I was impatient and fast dries a lower bud. Gonna be great cured!

Hey Bunker! those are shish kabob sticks...lol. I drape plastic over when cloning for moisture. That keeps plastic off the plant...lol

Autos were slow to seed (10 days) and the first week they didn't do much. Now they are taking off. Swear you can see them growing. Ill update the grow with some new pics. Getting a little dropping on the small bud leaves. Thinking I may have under fed the cl/mag.

Hey Dank, I took some 4 1/2 week samples from my top buds nearest the UV-B lights and let them hang for a week. Tokin' 'em up now and getting really toasted off 4-5 hits. Holy shit it's better than I had hoped for when they finished and they still have at least 3 weeks to go! Even the taste is fairly decent without curing.
