Question for anyone using the perfect sun cob when do you start vegging with it. Right now there only a few days out of the soil and using my t5 light.
You can veg starting whenever. The cob has different settings so you can turn it down to something like 150watts or something and that would be perfect for seedlings/clones. How much vertical height are you working with? Only thing I wouldn't do is put them within 20 inches of the light.

Got lots of head room to play with. Just though I read somewhere that I shouldn't start seeds with the cob. I didn't plan on going both switches either. I'll
Let them get used to light.

Yeah idk I have my seedlings under a 170 true watts led I got from Hong Kong with maybe a foot of head way and they're doing fine. Feel free to check my journal for how close I get the light. Now granted, the PS is a little more intense than my shitty light so that's why I have it closer. If I was using a PS cob I'd have it like 2 feet over the canopy

I got a few led that run over 600 true watts just wasn't sure about the cob

No need to show off everywhere Nis, gosh! Jkjk bro show em off they're beautiful.
These lights are no joke. Comparing plants from the same mother but are under a different light, you can clearly tell the difference in trichome production and size. Quite amazing.

I'll take some pictures tonight of the girls under the PS cob and post them here. The entire point of the PS cob is that it is much smaller in size, lighter in weight, and has very similar light coverage as the goliath. With the goliath you have to add additional support if you are using a tent. The cobs spread the light out very evenly and efficiently.

I can't wait to order either the COB or the Goliath. I was thinking the Goliath just because of the power draw but the COBS seem a lot easier to work with.
