Congrat's on the seeds! Very nice score! :high-five:
She is next.. But I need to read up on storing seeds.
I did some reading about this last fall. Short answer is in a glass container (or similar at least covered and light proof) , in a cool dark place.
I have mine in the fridge in a sealed quart mason jar, with some desiccant packs in there too. Just germinated several for this run that were at least 5 years old.
I thought that you wanted to avoid loss of moisture in seeds so what is the advantage to desiccant usage?:Namaste:
seemed like a good idea at the time? You are saying this is not a good thing? Maybe I should take that out of there! good thing most of the seeds are individually sealed inside of there!

You DO want the desicant packs! It's not about losing moisture from the seeds, it's about preventing the moisture/condensation in the jar, which can cause the seeds to germinate before you're ready! :Namaste:

Copied from a seed bank:

Seed Storage
Seeds are best stored long-term in a cool and dry place. A refrigerator at 5-8°C/41-46.5°F is ideal. Do not freeze the seeds as they may be damaged when they thaw. Place your seeds in a zip bag and small tupperware box to ensure that they remain dry. You can also put some rice or a bag of desiccant into the tupperware box to absorb any accidental moisture. Mandala seeds can remain viable for 3+ years with little or no loss in germination. This is a biological product and we cannot predict or guarantee the length of viability.
OK...just got to this post...EXACTLY! :thumb:

@Mr. Krip thank you.

Did you read the post from BigSur about frozen seeds?
It is interesting but I think fridge is enough for me..
Zip bag in a black plastic cd cover with a desiccant pack.
