Birdie's Return To Life

Babies are doing fine.
Car parts has arrived, going to a freezing garage to remove smashed bumper and replace radiator at least.. If I 'm not too cold after, I might do some more work :)

I gave up. Too cold and tricky screws...

Babies have grown and OG Roxette has doubled her size :)
Pigeon express is delivering my tent this week as well :)

I think we have all been there, me more than others. Except I never had a garage. Doing that stuff in the snow, under a tarp, (raining), just because I didn't have any money. Almost back there again, except I'm enjoying it this time! ( Idon't work on cars now, though, lol).
I hope you'll be alright. You seem to have a great deal of common sense. Time to spread a little love - :green_heart::green_heart: :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs: Cheers

Hyaaa Bode :hugs:
I hope my common sence will help me.
I will get it right, it is just frustrating in the beginning, when you have a plan and as you start, you need to make a whole new strategy.
Need to unscrew the whole front part. (bumper and cover) I know there are 2 bults (or 1 BULT and 1 screw) on each side. Located " infront of" tyre...
I can find one the second might be covered in ice actually.
So, need to get each tyre off, one by one
(and while they're off change brake pads).
The rest I do when I get there :)

So you do have a plan. Very Good. When I ran into a roadblock, I take some time to think about the process, and apply some logic. Works everytime for me. You're doing great, building more character, lol. Cheers

Sweet Oldbear :hugs:
Well, that is the problem. Easy solution is haul it up.. No can do, so it is back to drawing board, see what I have available and do what I can.

DIY you gotta love it I'm a DIYer through necisity. After returning from Viet Nam in 1970 the only job I could get was digging ditches it was hard makin ends meet with a wife and kid. The only way I could afford to do anything was by doin it myself.
Having a can do attitude helped me to become a senior manager at one of the Forbes top ten companies. Now I'm retired I am back to doin DIY as a matter of fact I have to replace the power steering pump on my 2004 Jaguar S type. Hang in there it will get better.
